Any Soaps and Big Brother
Religion no longer appears to the the opium of the masses, it's bleeding soap operas. They seem to assume that women just want to fill their minds with the going's on of imaginary people. This woman would rather watch something that teaches me something new.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Oh man, I hate so much of the things on tv it is hard to get them in any kind of order but here goes:-
1. All soaps including all those wannabe soaps such as the Bill, Casualty, etc.
2. Big Brother, Celebrity Chef, Love Island or whatever it is called, Farm(note: I actually like 'The Games, Get Me Out Of Here'.
3. Simpsons - It is not as clever as it thinks it is, very predictable and always f**king on!
4. The Frog and all it's friends.
5. Motor Sports(booooring), Golf, Tennis and especially Horse Racing(would anyone watch this so called 'sport' if gambling was not allowed).
Stuff I like:-
1. The best series ever - Blake's 7
2. The best sitcom ever - Married With Children
3. Best Sports ever - Football, Boxing & Athletics
Obviously a lot of peeps will disagree with the 3 above and what I think of the Simpsons but they are wrong!0 -
the darm 'bad grandma' skittles ad. Ugh! No kid should have to imagine their lovely gra behaving like that.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
Can also add that the thing on the TV that I hate the most is a disgusting blue vase that DW sets on it. Some friend of hers brought it back for her from holiday and she insists on keeping it on the TV ... I have accidently knocked it off a couple of times but the thing doesn't even have the decency to break.
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -

Dislikes:-
Ivan's blue vase (I'm easily influenced)
Any sport programme unless it's the last 20 mins. of some match/game/competition that's important to others so that I know who's won and don't appear to be ignorant, and I suppose it's interesting to see the best in any field. I've never been interested in sport on TV, if something's worth doing then do it, not watch it (and football filming doesn't seem any better than it ever was).
Election stuff - it's too late by the time we get it then we're saturated with it.
Programmes that ask you to vote before anything's happened
Programmes that ask you to vote tonight and for the next 10 weeks, it would be great if we could rate each programme by voting on it as it's broadcast!
Likes:-
Eastenders - though some of story lines crap and I don't want to see Grant or Phil back oh sorry have I spoilt it for you?! Don't know why they tell you what's going to happen in advance but they do...
Other soaps when I happen to catch them
Have I got news for you
Comedy - there's some good stuff & some bad
I am now going to tell you about documentaries
I like documentaries but agree with the poster who commented on the repeat comments in programmes, documentaries are going this way with a lot of the sound tracks and voice overs being total rubbish!
My previous line contained my opinion about documentaries and how a lot of the sound tracks and voice overs are total rubbish.
I've finished talking about documentaries now but to recap I think that there are some boring sounding presenters reading bad scripts and with unimaginative sound/music.
Back to dislikes - anything that repeats a shot in it as though we don't notice that we've seen it before.
Back to likes - I like documentaries but agree with the poster who commented on the repeat comments in programmes, documentaries are going this way with a lot of the sound tracks and voice overs being total rubbish!Torgwen.....................

I can't concentrate on any TV while the PC is switched on - it's so much more enticing!
Quicker to list my likes, which are few - The Daily Politics, Working Lunch, The Politics Show (Sundays), Countdown, Ready Steady Cook (borderline - it makes good background), one decent half-hour News programme per evening (not fussy which), and any non-fiction historical programmes with old cine-camera footage. Also the late lamented Breakfast with Frost was worth sacrificing a Sunday lie-in for. If only I could manage to stay up a bit later I'm sure I'd enjoy Question Time and Panorama.
I don't actively dislike everything else, e.g. nature programmes etc., but they don't "engage" me, in competition with the endless possibilities of the Internet.
Can't stand any soaps or "reality" (haha) TV.:eek:I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Speaking of Hammers, Did you all watch West Ham regain their rightful spot in the Premiership today?I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
