:) A day of intermittant heavy showers coming over very quickly tho, although I was on the allotment for nearly two hours, I chose not to garden and instead did some much-needed shed decluttering.

Have removed some stuff for recycling, earmarked some other bits and bobs to be offered to a pal for her allotment and decided that some other things can go, once I have spare carrying capacity on the pushbike to take them away.

Then came home, rested awhile, before starting in on the under-bed area. Several boxes have been evicted for recycling and much dust vacuumed up. Still haven't quite finished in there for the day but have paused to fix a simple meal, rest then re-start.
Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Hi All - Nice bit of Kondoing managed yesterday and today.
Bag of old broken car bits & accessories gone to metal recycling along with two defunct watering timers that were kept for justin. Sorted the greenhouse ready for summer veg and had an LB moment. My cucumbers always end up growing like triffids and I try to support them along the roof of the green house (6x4) This year I've put some heavy duty clematis mesh over the apex in the roof and kept it in place with 3 unused tensions rods from when we had net curtains. Hoping it will be sturdy enough to bear the weight. ;) Had DH & my P60's through this morning so checked and all last years pay slips rolled up into empty toilet roll holders to go on the fire. Need to kondo the mending pile now (ish!)

Into the ragbag: 2 socks, 1 pair of dd's leggings (unmendable hole), 1pair of husband's trousers (discoloured), 1 pair of dd1's future trousers (nibbled :( ).

Into compost bin: 1 dead mouse.....

Into Africa pile: 6 underpants from dd2 (too small), 2 pairs of dd2's shoes (same). 2 bagfuls of boy's clothes and shoes that the Mum of dd2's school friend gave us.

Into cs pile: 1 dd2's wintercoat that has been unworn all winter, 1 pair of husband's corduroy trousers (same).

Gaps in dds' wardrobe: dress for dd1, short leggings for both dds, sandals for dd2.

To the attic: a pair of cotton shoes for dd2. She swore me up and down that they fit her, but when she ran towards me today, she lost one :rotfl: They will be for this autumn or next spring.

DD1 received a sticker book and about 100 little bags with stickers, still sealed. They are all from some promotional stuff from a large supermarket chain last year. DD1 is diligently opening the baggies and sticking the stickers. Some baggies come with seed sachets, and so far she has collected some carrot, cauliflower, chives, and cherry tomato seeds. I will sow them asap and see what happens.

:) Post Sunday's shed sort out, I was giving thought to a storage unit I had up there and decided it had very little capacity to store, compared with the space the whole unit occupied, do have donated it.

1 handkerchief in the ragbag, 1 glittery pair of dd2's shoes in Africa donation pile, husband's T-shirt in ragbag (torn, cannot mend), scarves/hats/mittens washed and in the attic (maybe too soon?), 2 hats and a scarf in cs pile.

I had a sturdy shoe box, but was unsure what to do with it, then noticed the drawer with my scarves, special (think constructive, not sexy :) ) underwear, and some African dresses. Scarves are now side by side in the shoebox in the drawer.

:) Have a packed wally-trolley in the hall, which will go to work with me tomorrow then on to the charity shop and come home empty.

Un-shopping, how I love thee, let me count the ways.

Also took three paperbacks to the family homestead, one or two I think will appeal to the mothership, they'll all go chazzerwards when read or go unread, even.
