The freegler collected the concrete tubs - yipee!
GQ - I shovelled 4 bags of donkey poo for my beans last week! A pal volunteers at the local rescue centre and they were very glad to get rid of even my small amount
Today's task will be to prepare & plant the bean tubs and plant my 5 chitted potatoes & my donated dwarf beans. Weather here is forecast to be light showers & cooler so excellent time to get it all done.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Woo: when I had finished taking clothes for dd1 from the attic, I could consolidate the leftovers into one large plastic container, freeing up two small containers. One small container now holds dd2's future underwear (which was in two shoeboxes in the attic, but occasionally we have mice, so I prefer a plastic box!), the other plastic box now holds the small games in dds' playcorner (you know, packs of cards, dominoes, small puzzles, etc). The box is clear, so we can easily see which games it holds. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.590

My kitchen renovation is in the middle of happening ... funny what it's done to my sense of how attached I am to things. I have 3 Zimbabwean baskets sitting on top of the fridge freezer - they take up a huge amount of space, and are never used for anything except holding a few plastic bags. But even though my new kitchen is going to be so spacious, I really can't keep them there, never doing anything. There's one that's flat enough to be of some use somewhere in the house, but the others have to go. After I've taken lots of photos.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

My kitchen is being redone in July so even though I've kondoed lots of things I'm sure there will be a lot more going - especially as the existing kitchen has to be ripped out 3 weeks before the new one goes in as it has to be re-plastered! I have already sourced a possible taker for the old units thoughSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Great news Slinky! We are using an online conveyer firm, they handled in-laws recent move and DD2s purchase so we're happy to put more business their way. Off to measure up at the new place today, dry excited to see it again.
3 bags of stuff and a box of books dropped off to the CS this morning (the unsold stuff from Sunday's bootsale and a few bits and bobs I snuck in as I won't miss them). Managed to add 3 books to the pile too, I tend to have a few books on the go at once and managed to finish them all yesterday.
Aiming to go through baking trays/roasting dishes etc this afternoon. Going from a big range double cooker to a single oven means I won't need so many as I won't be able to fill 2 ovens at once. Some really have seen better days."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

I found the innards of a fridge dumped on the pavement in the traditional “help yourself” way earlier.
So I helped myself to the metal bottle-rack shelf, which is now nestled (perfectly- exactly the right size) on my cupboard shelf, wrong way up, working as a brilliant pan/lid/colander organiser.Jan 20 - NST challenge

You should have kept it, it's only 242 days until Christmas!
