creeps in... Apologies for my extended absence, but I have been KMing my marriage :mad: The STBEH (soon to be ex husband) has been quietly building a new relationship with his ex-fianc!e of 30 years ago since February and I found out just over 5 weeks ago.

Hey ho, I needed to shed some excess stuff - but wasn't exactly expecting the excess to be him

As a bonus, I have also KM'd 16lbs in 5 weeks, several hundred £s in court & legal fees and am getting settled in my own house with most of my own stuff around me.

Consequently, I am dipping out of MSE for the foreseeable...I have other things to do

Oh Floss, sorry to hear that - been there and it's awful. I hope you've got lots of support, it sounds as if you're taking action which is always better than waiting for the other party to move.

Yesterday I took all the winter coats down from the attic, the girls tried on several, and now have at least one winter coat each. The rest is back in the attic for next year. This does not mean that we will not buy new jackets later this winter, but that we can manage until that time.


We also tried on all sorts of shoes I have stored in the attic. One pair of boots and one pair of shoes are too small for DD2 and will be donated; the sports shoes I had stored for DD1 were too small, too, so we quickly went out to buy a pair for the field run today. They both seem to have grown two shoe sizes over summer!


Quite a few of the shoes I keep in the attic are not new, or 'the best', but they will tide us over for a few days or weeks until we can make it to the shops. I happily discard or donate them after that.

Having dropped a full bag of stuff off at the CS at lunchtime I've already managed to find 2 more non-joy-sparking items since coming home! New bag started
