I've never looked at my bipolar episodes as being Tigger or Eeyore modes.. But I really do love that analogy roundtuit I've just called them manic..or black dog times :D

Think I may just change the names of them... although I may get a few weird looks from my therapy group if I suddenly say I'm having a Tigger moment...lol

    [QUOTE=Narc0lepsy;73741976
On the slinkie front, I have finally lost a measly pound which is pretty pathetic when I think about how much I have exercised and how careful I have been with food, but I suppose as most of my work is sitting down it only just compensates. Never mind it is in the right direction and our holiday pack arrived this week which should give me incentive. 3 weeks today.

    was 11st 1 now 11st[/QUOTE]

Narc0lepsy - well done - a 1lb is a lot of fat - also if you are exercising loads you are probably noticing changes to your body - sometimes we have to look for the non scale victories, I think a one pound loss is briliant - I would kill to be 11st xxx

YL - I was really chuffed to read your DH has cleaned the house. Maybe the message has sunk in? Long may it continue xx
YL I was thinking exactly the same thing as atb. :D
Thanks atb. We had words at Christmas so he has been helping more. If past experience is anything to go by this will last a month or so then gradually things will slide again - but maybe I am being unfair. I have told him how grateful I am though.
I think that's the way to go - they're like kids, if you praise them to the moon for doing a task, they're more likely to do it again. Seems to work with Mr LW, anyway. ;)
LW - I love Dublin; enjoy planning your trip x
Thanks - we're now on a mission to find interesting things to do/places to visit that are accessible by wheelchair. :o We shall be there for a week in May.

Donnajt I haven't asked anyone else to niff the loo; the only other person who really comes to the house (apart from dog-owners) is Mr LW's pal, and I'd feel embarrassed asking him. Strangely enough, I do frequently get phantosmia - often I can smell either cigar smoke _pale__pale_ or bacon _pale__pale__pale_, neither of which can possibly be in the house under any circumstances. :( It occurred to me last night (while I couldn't sleep) that I'm probably also noticing it more because I'm spending rather more time than is comfortable leaning over the loo rather than sitting on it (sorry if TMI) with lupus-induced nausea - so closer to the source, iyswim.
I don't think it's the surrounding floor area because a good scrub of the loo itself cures it for a while.

We have Canine company! Sasha the Golden Labrador is here for her weekend break. :T:T:T
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Well I'm hanging my head in shame, :(:embarasse haven't completed a single list all week, however, I have completed a bloomin big Frog, in that my bedroom no longer has two sets of wardrobes and our usual 4.5 wardrobes have been condensed to 3.5. i also have a lovely new dressing table area with a very beautiful cocktail chair (bargain in asda), sadly the teenagers and little one seem to think it's their beauty/hair station

also have swapped carcass of our old wardrobe for DS's one which was falling apart, DS (room on doom) has been obliterated, big bag of junk bagged up for rubbish and some of his old clothes passed on to friends son.

I've managed to house relatively clean and tidy, laundry up to date and I have kept on top of ironing, so its not all doom and gloom

Slinky Challenge - happy to report a 2.5lb loss so that's 7.5lbs over the last two weeks - would really like a 4.5lbs next week only because then I would have got the xmas weight off and get my Slimming World 10% award

this week I need to increase my water intake and move more!

OMG i smell cigarettes, bacon and an overpowering sweet smell all the time - accuse OH of letting next door (smoker) neighbour in (which would be very difficult as I rarely leave the house)

Oh LameWolf you poor thing - that's horrible and understandable, I don't know much about Lupus - is the nausea a day to day symptom?

Me too! Done bare minimum and that is if I'm being generous in what I've done! Oh well, always next week isn't there.

Sorry I was a bit stressed earlier on in the week; think everything is sorted now but had a real bad MH episode and it was horrific - unable to move, tears, shaking etc etc and just overloaded but think I'm coming out of it again now. MH issues suck don't they.

Going to do a quick tidy up then out at 2.40 for a while. After tea we're off to watch Rugby - huge fans and I always shout myself hoarse .... my family LOVE taking me to Rugby, specially if I've had a cider lol
