Me too! Done bare minimum and that is if I'm being generous in what I've done! Oh well, always next week isn't there.

Sorry I was a bit stressed earlier on in the week; think everything is sorted now but had a real bad MH episode and it was horrific - unable to move, tears, shaking etc etc and just overloaded but think I'm coming out of it again now. MH issues suck don't they.

Going to do a quick tidy up then out at 2.40 for a while. After tea we're off to watch Rugby - huge fans and I always shout myself hoarse .... my family LOVE taking me to Rugby, specially if I've had a cider lol

So glad you are feeling better xxxx
  • Got home from work - it's been a hard week, but everyone's been working well together, which always makes it easier, especially when you (as a faculty) get to do the equivalent of raising your eyebrows in unison, folding your arms across your chest and replying 'Well, yes, we were aware - that's why you've received at least six emails about this over the last six months' whilst silently thinking WE TOLD YOU SO.

Himself has done a perfunctory clean of the front room, a quick bed linen wash and change and absolutely s*d all in the kitchen, despite overhearing a hissed grumble at the cat about what on earth is he thinking of, leaving food out uncovered for days and then expecting me to eat it.

But he did go to the chip shop for tea, so at least I've had the ability to stuff my face without feeling like I'm taking a risk with every mouthful.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

  • I have had a crazy week where both hubby & I have been ill. Work was the most insane day on Tuesday (I didn't leave my desk from 8:30-4:30 as I was that busy)
And I did my first full day of supply teaching (which, although fine in the end, was quite anxiety inducing at the time) I have found little time to fly. Yesterday I managed to get back to the point I was at at the end of last week, but no further on.

So this morning.... I AM going to sort the dreaded dining room. It's the through room where everything's no gets dumped on the way into the house. It's the place where hubby stores his PA system bird because we live in a 2 bed terrace that doesn't have a proper store. It's the place where things accumulate.

So, I thought as it was 5:30 and I was awake, I'd lie in bed until 6 and deal with it before the Pickle wakes up. But that is not to be as he's storing thanks to coughing. Oh joy. This should be fun.....

  • Morning everyone

DH was home again yesterday and still being very helpful which is lovely. BUT him being home means he is not earning money which is a real worry. Hoping for an improvement in the weather next week.

Still in bed. Fairly up to date on job no.2 and not much flying to be done. Need food shopping and some washing to be done.

DH wants to get fitter and loose weight so he has reluctantly agreed to come running with me today, will update you on that later.

But first I could do with a bacon butty!

My week has been crazy too - I know where you're coming from, Wish! Made even crazier by the fact that I'm looking after DGD1+2 today, *and* they're staying overnight with us tonight. I'm very pleased, as they've never been entrusted to us overnight before - and at least they go to bed early - but I could have done with a full day of studying.

Sorry fell off as works hectic so much to catch up on and a week to do it so I’ve got in at 10 and midnights. 5 top layers 3 bottom and I’m still freezing cold as stuck at a desk but needs must. I’ve took the weekend to be at home but will be a lot of work from here. Maybe when my brain is less cold I can achieve more.

Been throwing in washer and drier loads as I go out and come in so there is a pile to sort out. Boys did DW once so did I. They’ve not been eating as healthy a couple of days this week it’s been quick and easy as they won’t eat what I had made at work. Weight loss didn’t go well last week as we were at the show, put most of what I had lost back on. Hey ho

Pigpen it’s carbs that really get me, complex carbs and proteins are hell but the carbs worse. The more complex they are inc meats & protein substitutes the worse it is. I find the SP days more effective on slimming world which is like the old Red Days. Using veg as the base/acccompaiment so I had bolognese on cauli brocolli & squash instead of pasta etc

I must kick my own into more healthy eating and I must use up the freezer more. My GC targets been totally inappropriate but in my defence cooked at work for 6 twice this week. I hadn’t kept track of my grocery spends for years and years. I want to loose this weight so I need to make time. OH grumbled when I said no to eating out before we go to the dogs tonight (free passes) wanting to eat out again but no, I’m not, he can if he wants

    Right today I will

Sort at least one basket of laundry to go away m
    Meal plan of sorts
    Make all meals at home
    Sort the fridge out
    DW x 2, WM x 2, TD x 3
Do at least an hour of work
Have a shower & clean bath sink and bog while in there
    Find my house slow cooker
    Clean conservatory floor
    Vacuum some dog hair away
    Clean the downstairs toilet
    Clean the mop
    Sort the tins cupboard
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

I've never looked at my bipolar episodes as being Tigger or Eeyore modes.. But I really do love that analogy roundtuit I've just called them manic..or black dog times :D

Think I may just change the names of them... although I may get a few weird looks from my therapy group if I suddenly say I'm having a Tigger moment...lol

Glad to hear you like the Tigger / Eeyore analogy YorkshireLass, FurryBeastOz, Mademoiselle and Natty :D I get weird looks quite frequently Natty especially if I say 'oops I just bounced you, didn't I?', but I've found that people seem to identify more easily with Tigger vs Eeyore moments than with highs and lows. Maybe it's the visual interpretation of an abstract? I dunno.
