Morning all
Many thanks for lists, will try harder this week to keep up.
Funeral for sister went as well as it could last week - her son gets married later in the year so will all meet up again then for something nice.
Pouring down here so going to crack on with list, getting dressed first thing to do, just need a cuppa to get me started.
Have a good day
Hugs
katiecat x
Glad your sister got a good send off, here's to happier times ahead x0 -
I realise also that I'm really not coping with doing the whole bungalow over within a week, even though it's a tiny place
I'm wondering if I'd be better off going with a 10-day "cycle" to get round the whole place, so that it all gets done three times in the course of a month. And if I do that, does it get me expelled from Flylady? The main problem I'm having is that often I'm so desperately fatigued; even "normal" things like having a bath or eating dinner leave me wiped out; and I have even had the situation where I can be awake but can't open my eyes - just the effort of raising my eyelids is too much.
LameWolf - I don't cope with Flylady everyday - I suffer with CFS and fibromylgia, I completely understand where you are coming from. I just do what i can, i have found that the decluttering december put me in good stead for january! I haven't managed any of the lists this week but i have 3/4 finished dismantling old wardrobes and carrying them bit by bit downstairs, it is my aim to get last wardrobe into son's room (and dismantle his old wardrobe) today, then both rooms are decluttered and tidy - might not be polished, but fresh bedding went on yesterday and the rooms are now bright and decluttered
Flylady is for each and everyone of us - no matter how fast or slow we are - lets be fair the hare never won the race!!!
much love x0 -
Nobody likes a show-off (she says through a mouthful of Wispa chocolate) My head's not with it for my slinky challenge. I wake up with great intentions each day that wither and die at the first whiff of sugar
Well done Donna x:(
thank you Dizzy Imp - I had put on 11lbs Nov/Dec - back at Slimming world - my problem is crisps - bloody stupidly ate several packets again last night  fingers crossed for weigh in tonight0 -
Why did Mr LW think it funny when I said I was fed up of the bathroom smelling like a toilet?
I know there's actually a toilet in there, and I am fed up of it smelling like one!
It has just been steam-cleaned to within an inch of it's life, btw.
what kind of flooring have you got LameWolf? I kept smelling horrible piddle smell in our downstairs loo, blamed the 8 year old who does love to wave it about , I steamed floor them poured some neat zoflora on the grout around the toilet and this did the trick, hope that helps x
are you sure its not that your senses are heightened due to the fatigue - mine get really bad - currently its lights, walking around bumping into everything because i can't bear to have lights on lol0 -
That was a lovely thing to do Donna and great that you all enjoyed the weekend
MAD and H2H - put together as helped DH make a start on clearing his 'man-cupboard' and sorting for about hour and half. Most of room now disappeared but good progress made so far
Lx
thank you Lynne - we are looking to book another trip in a couple of months, I came home stiff as a board from not moving much!
How do you get husband to help? I always end up doing it myself, mind you I do get to throw loads of crap that he would keep :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

:idea: I've been looking for a reason why my change in diet could have set off this bout of depression as it seemed to come out of nowhere  My research all showed that healthy diet helps depression not brings it on - so I'd more or less decided that my brain is wired up wrong and chocolate / crisps / processed foods kept me sane
. However as I am fed up with being fat I decided not to go back to the 'Sod this - I'd rather be fat and happy, than 'dieting' and near-suicidal' but to push on (crawl with the ball!) and DS (who has a degree in Psychology) suggested that if I persevere, even though it's tough, eventually my brain chemistry will sort itself out. atb you have given me hope :T Thank you.
And I've lost 3 lbs this week, that's 7 lbs in total. :T
It could be the sugar withdrawal - I got this horrendously when i joined slimming world last august - (hubby got it too when I got rid of all his chocolate treats, only he didn't know lol)
Hang in there - fresh air helps - you will start to feel better once the healthy stuff overcome the sugar withdrawals and you will feel better
much love x0 -
I'm not liking the information being posted about sugar withdrawal...6-8 weeks is a lifelime  If I do this, I'm going to be a bear with a sore head for ages! I do seriously need to cut out the crap food, but I'm such a sugar addict.
I also need to find the scales and weigh myself so I'm confronted with the true horror of my situation. That may help.
Mutter, mutter....
don't panic Dizzy Imp, mine only lasted about a week - eat fruit - get some good sugar inside you - esp berries that will aid your weight loss0 -

Now the brave the snow and go to the post office.
Well done x making money, decluttering and exercise!0
