    Wowser - awesome.

I will NEVER be able to do so many in a row during the summer as I LOVE my car boot sales way too much :rotfl:

Not only will the supermarkets be quiet during the match but you are likely to get more bargains :D

    Fiscal Fast Day 170

How I wish that today was a NSD but I had to spend 50p  at the library for colour photocopying!

We had the most lovely free day afterwards at Kynance Cove (my most favourite beach in the world)

We are spoilt with the most beautiful coast and countryside in Cornwall and today we made the most of it :D

Pah! It rained on my parade today - we didn't go to our local car boot sale due to the on and off rain :(

I succumbed to Quidco offering £2.50 bonus wys £5. Unfortunately ebay was not included but The Works was so it was time to spend some 'Happy Cash Stash' on my favourite - stationery.

Added to the £2.50 bonus, Quidco were offering 12% cash back and The Works were giving 25% discount. I bought a lot of nice items including a present for my DD2 for under a tenner.

Mixed feelings about the purchase as I write this - I got the buzz of such amazing discounts but \i didn't really need the stationery.

I bet once it arrives I will be singing a completely different tune :D

Despite going to several shops in the course of my work today, it was a NSD

Quite a LSD today. Having withdrawal symptoms from visiting a car boot sale, we visited our local one which is really tiny but full of community spirit.

We managed to pick some re-sale items and just a couple of items for ourselves.

All in all pretty pleased with how this week has been going :D

First food shop of the month, and got lots of Y/S stuff which filled up my fridge and fruit bowl ,spent a grand total of £13.48 with more than enough to last me for the next 7-10 days

Really pleased with the haul, lots of fruit and veg, and even some meat, got a nice bit of sirloin steak for £1.07, which was big enough to cut into two bits so that went into the freezer for a couple of 'treat' meals at some point this month, and a piece of salmon as well for 80p which will make a nice dinner with steamed veg.

Our freezer has been running low especially for vegetables and quorn. So the decision was whether to buy from Sainsbury's or Iceland?

We had SO many good coupons for Sainsbury's including a conditional spend. I usually shy away from conditional spends nowadays but £7.50 off wys £50 was definitely worth considering.

A quick review of our inventories made our decision for us and I duly headed off to Sainsbury's.

I followed your suggestion of shopping during the England match JackieO but our Sainsbury's was still busy and there were no bargains to be had.

The shop was a good one though as we clocked up 700 Nectar points as well as £7.50 off.

To top it off England won...RESULT :D

We had to head off to Penryn to pick up DD3's Euros from ASDA so we had a little shop whilst there but the items were on offer and on our running short list.

With fantastic weather we continued on to Castle Beach
    http://www.castlebeachcafe.co.uk/
for a bit of lizard lounging and a swim (I love swimming and I was in the sea for 2 hours :D )

Due to our fabulous weather, our entertainment is FREE (the best kind) at the moment. Long may it continue :D

The best way to start the week is with a NSD and that was today

NSD today ,more than enough from my haul on Saturday thank goodness. I am poaching a couple of rock hard conferance pears today in a little water and honey with cinnamon to make a pudding to go into the fridge.
I have some mango sorbet in the freezer which will go very nicely with them as well. The pears were huge and rock hard so once poached and cooled they will do for at last two puddings from the fridge

    JackieO xx
