Just had cheese n onion omelette for tea, made in my omelette maker, so no grease involved
I keep having thoughts of getting one of those.... Aldi were stocking them again in recent weeks, about £12.
Just for the browning.... I make some in the nuker ... but I do miss the brown crispy bits0 -
Stinking cold and tickle cough so maybe just bacon and/or egg sarnies today.0

I absolutely love this thread! I've just gone through a breakup (very fortunate, as we have both been really good with one another through it all) and this means that I will now be living on my own for the very first time (aged 31)

Welcome Puffintail. I'm sure you'll settle and get comfy :hello:
Now I want an omelette maker, never heard of them, but I think I want one anyway
Odd PN, I was thinking sausage rolls, not a favourite of mine but I find them strangely compelling
Brambling, yep I noticed the moon, kicking myself that I never grabbed the camera at the time, it was low and a tree was silhouetted by it, with a bit of wispy mist as well. I could've Photoshopped a bat in there somewhere I'm sure:)
Usual porridge breakfast
Fried egg sarnie for lunch
Dinner was head scratcher, but since my trip into town it has been resolved by a YS pizza from Asda
BTW, Iceland have frozen peas on offer 69p, can never have too many frozen peas in the freezer when CFO
Small spot of gardening, moved the rhubarb from it's unhappy smothered by ferns spot to where I hope it will perk up
Update Found a wrinkled tom, and some mushrooms + blob of old cheese, I'll add them to the YS pizza

Afternoon all! Long time, no see!
No excuse here... Just been busy! The last three weeks in particular have been pretty non-stop. I've been working solidly, and working in the evenings 3 nights as well.
Then the website kicked me off (I'm normally logged in all the time), and I couldn't be bothered to go and track down where I write my passwords!
I hope you're all doing well?
Breakfast today was coffee and 3 biscuits.
I then had an early-ish lunch of 2 boiled eggs and some salady bits.
Just now I've had one of those little individual chocolate mousse things.
Now I'm going to try and be good, and not have anything else until around 7, when I'm good and hungry for the pizza I've got in the freezer.Because it's fun to have money!

Room for another here?
I am a regular on the Debt Free Wannabe diaries Forum.
I CFO on a regular basis and was hoping to join in for a bit of inspiration and also maybe to inspire other folks. Share ideas for bulk / batch cooks etc. Hopefully put paid to the urban myth that we Scots fry everything, just to be clear WE DON'T but when we do it's the best fry-up EVER
For this week I have done a MAHOOSIVE pot of beef stew that should last me til Sunday.
Last week it were a MAHOOSIVE pot of Stovies.
Next week it may be soup or a load of pasta dishes or a Ruby Murray or a no sae chilli con carne...BUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Today I've had a tomato sandwich. I made two for the fridge, ate one, so there's still one in there.....0
