Farway if you have "spare" smoked haddock it makes a great pasty filling mixed with cooked spud and cheese sauce:). (PS- hope you didn't nuke the fish or you will be back to square one in the whiffs department:rotfl::rotfl:
Ha, not nuked, I wrapped in foil & baked in oven, still ponged the kitchen out once I unwrapped it, welcome to Billingsgate:o
There were no LOs to worry about, I enjoyed it but wouldn't buy at full price

Lunch is scheduled to be another LO lamb in sarnie, with mint sauce of course

No idea about dinner, like PN there are loads of things I could make, but CBA again, I think salad is looking likely, I've got everything and a warm day is forecast

Starving, not eaten yet today. First will be those two last crumpets ....

Just bought a printer, not had one for over 10 years... so setting it up. Then I'll eat crumpets. Then I'll want to find things to print :)
  • I had two Quorn cumberland sausages too, I feel stuffed!:p

    Lovely CFO brekkie:rotfl:

Lamb sarnie lunch extended to include half bar of L's fruit & nut choc, the cheap plebby one
    Then a marmalade sarnie:o

Dinner decided, LO lamb, HM chips, with skin on:D with salad

Salad cream "jus" may splodge on the chips

MSE trawl of car insurance, looks like £50 ish can be saved:), which will be handy to offset the leccy price rise:(

In response to the stretching meals with veg discussion I also did/do this. My kids don't like Bolognese without grated carrot, finely chopped celery and 2 onions added with everything else. My middle one to this day loves Mystery Veg soup but won't have the recipe as he's bothered that it'll put him off it. It's literally half a bag of frozen mixed veg, an onion, tin of tomatoes, handful of red lentils, stock, bay leaves and salt and pepper cooked until soft then blended. When money was tight we had a soup with crusty homemade soda bead followed by a pudding and custard night once a week and everyone loved it. I did have to wash the bowls after the soup though as I didn't have 10 of them:rotfl:

No CFO at all today as I haven't eaten yet and am going for homemade lasagne at my parents for tea. There's defrosted morello cherries and ice cream for dessert too apparently :D

Pasty last night was lovely served with mushy peas and onion gravy. My bf stayed over and he was very appreciative of the pie and pea supper as he calls it. He's a Yorkshire man :rotfl:

Raining and cool here and very grey and depressing looking.

    Hope everyone is well?

    I WANT A PASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trouble is, it'd have to be "a good one" ..... so I'm not able to achieve it.

Sausage rolls keep calling my name... I was out earlier and passed the shop, but I didn't drive in because I CBA pulling out of their car park and turning right just for a pack of sausage rolls. It's one of those "turn right" manoevres where 10' to your right the adjacent business (a drive thru) has traffic turning left onto the road ... so you're watching traffic from the left, traffic from the right, traffic to the right/next door that's not even on the road yet .... so you need to be "in the mood" for that :) I could walk there now .... but ... hey, CBA :)

Candy I think you have more gadgets than me :rotfl:

Has anyone else noticed the moon the last couple of days, it was better last night than tonight according to BBC it's a super snow moon and has been beautiful :)

Back at work today playing catch-up not quite 100% wobble free but ok if I don't turn too quickly.

Finish my fruit salad for breakfast I have thought about making another one but currently cba maybe tomorrow :). Lunch today was soup, there was going to be crackers with it but they didn't make it past 11am :o. Dinner was oxtail casserole from the freezer with LO green veg. I'm still trying to work out why there isn't a RM size gap in the freezer

    Good evening everyone,

Will get a proper catch up tomorrow.
Suffice to say "wonky donkey" broke free and gave me a good kicking overnight!! Today has been very much a pj and staying horizonal kind of day and thankfully the stable door is now closed if not quite locked.

Soup & toast and freezer raiding have pretty much covered CFO meals.
