Back to Earth, a lovely day yesterday, all cooked for me at DD's, no clearing away, just sit & eat whatever turns up, except the beetroot Wellington, lentils in it, can't abide lentils

I also left the mashed swede, never liked it since school dinners back in the 50s

Now I can crack into the XCFO horde, but had normal breakfast of porridge before I start on the Stollen, mince pies, mixed special biscuits etc

Lunch, no idea but nibbling is on the cards

Dinner, there are some tempting cheeses in the fridge, just maybe attack them later

  • I've had a horrible Christmas. I fell and twisted my back and had a painful muscle spasm. I spent most of x-mas eve and x-mas day lying in bed.:eek:

Lucky I didn't go to any effort this year or it would have been wasted.

My husband ordered pizza on x-mas eve so I ate a large pizza over the past two days! That is all I could eat as I was taking painkillers.

I feel better now and so I'm making pasta with baked tofu, cherry tomatoes and olives with the last of the red pesto.

  • That sounds terrible, Wednesday? I hope you were able to enjoy some of it?

I spent Xmas by myself :) watching TV. Never got round to starting the Harry Potter boxset. XCFO ended up being the chicken thighs in a sandwich. I'll eat the steak tonight.
Today's job is to put the tiny Xmas tree, tiny baubles & battery powered lights away - Xmas has finished in my house!

Trying to eat out of the cupboards til January, I've joined the Grocery challenge thread to track what I spend, so I'm avoiding shopping til then.

I did feel a lot better last night so I went crazy and watched some funny YouTube videos, lol.
