Caronc that sounds lovely. I'm out most of this week eating. I think I'll need some elasticated waists !

Glad you had a good lunch Caronc and your new dress got an outing :rotfl:

Wednesday your cough is certainly lingering I agree with Farway chips are a good remedy for most things :rotfl:

Wort hope you got the cat to the vet? why is it they grow an extra set of claws when you try to get them in their carrier

Thanks to the building work the environment in the office today upset my asthma, I should have worked from home but was expecting an IT guy to fix my laptop so had to go in :( unfortunately he couldn't resolve the issues so there's another one coming back tomorrow

As I haven't felt 100% I've not been hungry, the soup I took for lunch is going to have to wait until tomorrow, I had an apple and some crackers instead. I'm not fancying dinner yet, I've made steak and kidney with some dumplings in the pressure cooker to freeze so I may have a couple of dumplings, just to try them :rotfl:

The advantage of living alone, I can upgrade my 25 year old sewing machine on a wim (new one is half price :D) only the cat to discuss the purchase with and he doesn't have much to say on the subject :rotfl: unfortunately he also won't be able to help with the new one which is partly computerised :p

Thanks for asking. Much better thanks- my nose is still scabby and my cheek painful but the general yuk feeling has gone. Fingers crossed it won't flare back up - I'd rather not be a Rudolph impersonator at Christmas:rotfl:

You were right the first time Caronc, usually nowhere to be found or sound asleep until you don't want their help and then they appear :rotfl:

    Today's scoff-fest has "just" been:
    1/ chilli, rice, cheese
2/ a few sweeties, fruit pastilles
    3/ two hot sausage rolls
    4/ a packet of crisps.

EDIT: You can add 12 chocolate finger biscuits to the above :) Call it an early midnight feast.

Just as well you had the fruit pastilles PN otherwise you wouldn't have had any greens today :rotfl:

Just tried my steak and kidney before freezing it and if I say so myself it was lovely :D Why don't I make it more often  the shin made a lovely gravy :)

When I defrost them I may make pastry for a pie depending if I cba

    Macaroni cheese today.

I have macaroni; I bought milk that has a BBE Saturday date, so needs to be used up.

Running a bit short of cheese as I had planned on buying 3x800g at L1dl at the weekend, but the shelves were empty so "missed out". I've enough cheese to make this though.

Later on ... er ... macaroni and chilli probably ... as the macaroni's out on the worktop already, might as well eat that twice today.

    :)
