It's 2 already!
I might just pop a pizza in the oven.:p
I've had exactly the same two things to eat today!:D
I have some tomato lentil soup to use up tonight.0 -

Good evening everyone,
I've definitely had emails take a long time to come back but 3 years:eek:, I wonder how many times it pinged round the www in that time.
Seems as though it would be easier to do a roll call of CFOers who don't have a lurgy than those that do - the germs have obviously gone "viral".:rotfl::rotfl:After feeling really grotty first thing I started to feel a bit better come lunch time hopefully it's on its way out;).
Novice- if you pop food on a metal tray/dish it defrosts really quickly. I'm the world's worst at deciding early afternoon I want a chop or similiar for dinner and one will defrost in 2-3 hours that way (a bit longer in the fridge but I'm happy to defrost on the counter in cooler weather).
AGM has been attended and it was a good one with some new folk joining the committee:), I'm glad to be home now though as I'm flagging.
The temperature is really dropping outside so the heating was popped on as soon as I got back in. It was pitch dark when I came out of the meeting at 6.30ish and blinking chilly I was well wrapped and had my gloves could have dome with my wooly hat too- must look it out.
I still haven't decided what to have for dinner so it will be something easy to prep.0 -
I went with the jacket pots that were in the oven long enough to watch GBBO on All4 catch up app without having to be interrupted....
Pork chop is in a plastic tub, still defrosting. I'll definitely have it tomorrow.
As it's Friday tomorrow, & I spent all day inside waiting for an alarm engineer to turn up, I've nothing to take to work for lunch. So I'll be stopping by a local supermarket for a meal deal on the way.
At least tomorrow is payday, so I'll be hitting 4ldi on my way home from work on Saturday to do the stock up on things I'm out of. After that, I should be good for probably two months as I've still a cupboard & half-freezer full.0 -
"Freezer" dinner here- small tub of spicy chicken & peppers in tomato sauce & small tub of refried beans have been "liberated" - nuked and squidged in a wrap with a sprinkle of grated cheese.:)0

Caronc I not sure you want to hear that it's still warm enough lunchtime to walk without a jacketour office visitor from Hamilton informed us it was like a Scottish Summer :rotfl: although it is a little cold first and last thing.
I wanted to use the 45 minutes before dark when I got home to fill my garden waste bin for collection tomorrow, I decided to heavily prunce my japonica as it's taken over in the back garden, unfortunately it was a bit of a battle as it has half inch thorns and it wonmy hands look like I've had a fight with the cat :rotfl: I gave up as it got almost dark so it's had half a hair cut, at least it will give my sister something to tidy next week
Lunch was a tuna and watercress roll using the LO tuna from yesterday, we won't talk about the bread :shhh: other than to say my stomach gurgling amused the office this afternoon  there's a reason why I don't eat it
Dinner was a throw together what's in the fridge vegetable and chorizo pasta dish with a hit of chilliusing odds and ends of courgette, pepper, sugar snap peas, mushrooms & spring onions, really tasty with little effort, although I forgot the chilli and rubbed my eye
