Chard/cavolo nero with the imam biyaldi = you're on Caron.
It was quite nice for diet food actually - I used more tomatoes than the recipe said/some onion salt and some tomato puree for extra flavour. In the event - I just had half of it - as it looked like enough to me and I was feeling full.0 -
I'll have the other half then MTSTM;):)0

Had to google Imam bayeldi .... never heard of it ever before. Hate aubergine
I'm disappointed.... I got it into my head that I wanted a bit of ice cream, so I looked at the Aldi website and picked some... off to the shops - and they don't stock what I'd chosen! Nor my 2nd choice. So I left there disgruntled.
Ended up at their competitors - grabbed some sausage rolls
Then I walked past the reduced pile.... and grabbed two flatbreads and a sweet/sour chicken - all at 70p. Just cooking the s/s chicken/egg fried rice now ... and going to scoff it.
A bag of choc covered peanuts and bag of fruit pastilles also came home with me0 -
I had to google it as well PN looks like something similar I've made before just didn't know it's name :rotfl: one to add to my list to make following a recipe, I like to have a good selection of vegetarian dishes
Another one with freezer envy here, unfortunately no room in my kitchen for another one it's a strange shape with two doors and a narrow corridor I may rethink putting electric into the old coal shed outside the front door it should fit an upright one. Another thing to add to my list for when I get builders in, unfortunately the list keeps getting bigger so it may have to be cut to what I need rather than what I want  or I could do what my mum did and put the freezer in the spare bedroom and torrent guest with it's humming all night
I go away on Sunday for a couple of weeks, heading west, I'll wave when I drive past Farwayso I'm going to have to ensure the odds and sods in the fridge are eaten, at least I can take LO veg with me as long as it's not too bendy, and other bits which will travel. I'm also happy as I've reached a stone weight lost
just have to balance things when I'm away so I don't put too much back on
I've surprised myself this week and actually stuck to a menu plan :j lunch was LO smoked salmon trimmings I had some sandwich thins in the freezer so I added LO cottage cheese and cucumber. Dinner was lamb steak with potatoes and green veg, not much thinking or cooking involvedI love lamb and it was YS so tasted all the better. I've eaten from my freezer all week and there doesn't seem to be any more room then there was on a Sunday, I think some one is adding to it when my back is turned

Thanks Caronc the trick will be to use up without creating LOs I think I might have to have a mushroom omelette tomorrow or Saturday :cool:PasturesNew wrote: »About 30 minutes after you've given Farway a wave, you can probably give me a wave.... not sure how far West I am of Farway, but that's a good enough guesstimate.
Look out for me about 8.30am Sunday morning PN I'll give you a waveLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
You'll be having to head very far west to get as far as waving to me Brambling - but...hey...we've got a lot of holidaymakers around this area this year (someone or other was saying summat on the radio t'other day about it was up 70% or so on last year).
Congratulations on a stone of weight loss. Are you aiming to get back into clothes you've not worn for a while - or buy new ones? A bit of both sounds good to me..0 -

I'm just going along the bottom of the country Moneyyou're need a strong telescope to see me wave :rotfl:
I'm back to where I was this time last year weight wise thanks to the thyroid blip early in the year, unfortunately I've a way to go so the plan is to fit back in to clothes currently hidden under the bed until I've lost enough to warrant a darn good shop. I've a couple of posh flocks I would like to get back intoLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
