    Good morning everyone,
After yesterday's gallivanting it is, as they round here, "back to old clothes and porridge" today. It's pouring with rain and cold so I'm happy to have a day just pottering indoors.
I plan to start my wardrobe clear out, a job to be done a bit at a time I think so I do it properly;).
Usual toast/fruit for breakfast, lunch will be salady bits and probably a cupasoup. Tonight is a "here's one I made earlier" chicken, leek and mushroom pie from the freezer with sweetcorn, asparagus and broad beans. :)

I have a leftover chickpea dish that I am having for lunch. It was roasted chickpeas with broccoli and rice in a tomato based sauce. I think I will add some peas for more protein.

I am going to start eating healthier as I want to lose some more weight. I lost 2 stone since last year but I want to lost 2 stone more!:p

I have ordered flaxseeds, spinach, bananas and berries in my shopping as I want to start making smoothies every morning.

I feel very motivated as I have paid off my mortgage and improved my health this year already so the next step is to lose more weight. I can focus on it properly now.:T

Not much to report, drew another blank in L's this morning, seems loads of empty shelves in there lately. I did get a packet of crumpets though, now I'm getting a taste for grilled cheese topping

Nil breakfast, but I had a couple of Lidlbix yesterday evening, so sort of early breakfast

I had intend the new crumpets with cheese for lunch, but finished up with PB baguette & salady filling

Dinner, don't know, it is a bit dull & cool today, a hearty stew & dumplings would be nice, if only someone would cook it

I keep looking at my mini stock of 3 FB tinned pies, shall I open one? I just know it will be disappointing and a let down, but tempting non the less

Good job there aren't any doughnuts in the house or they would be dinner

Watch this space is all I can say

A neighbour has a growing flock of ducks. Every other day folks nearby are finding mystery bags of eggs hung over their gates. I seem to have dropped off the circulation list but no matter - they come to me anyway. :j The thing is people can't keep up with all the eggs and they in turn look for someone to offload them to. That person is me.
The farm lady up the road must be wondering why the eggs in her honesty box aren't selling. :D
So what am I having for dinner? Why something with eggs of course.... Soon the entire village will be egg bound :rotfl:

Oh I love duck eggs, I do hope our monthly food market starts back soon so I can buy some:D.

Stage one of wardrobe cull completed :D , 28 items removed ( 3 binned and 25 will go to the local hospice shop). Admittedly though four pairs of casual trousers and a jacket all bought recently have been added, but still it's progress. ;) Whittled down the black trousers collection to 4 pairs all basically unworn so will do me for a while to come. :)

Ooh...I bet that "dropping off the circulation list" comes back to you having stopped "the World and their spouse" taking a non-existent shortcut through your garden? Small towns and villages can be very "naughty" that way if you don't do what they want....

Glad to hear you're still getting the eggs anyway.:D

No the duck lady is a recluse who barely communicates with anyone. I did tell her though and she was horrified on my behalf. She herself lives behind a screen of massive leylandii and permanently closed blinds and just hates the idea of anyone even parking near. She hardly ever steps outside her house and relies on her disabled son to go into town on his mobility scooter to get in the shopping. He's the one who distributes the eggs.

Been in a few random shops today, buying random food.
Today I've had two onion bhajis, two slices of quiche, some chocolates and a packet of crisps. I think that was it ... it can be difficult to remember can't it.... when you graze.

I've made up some bread rolls for tomorrow (they taste nicer, to me, when they're squashed in foil and chilled overnight)... one tomato and one egg/cheese/salad cream. Tomorrow I'll also have another couple of bhajis.

Picked up some crumpets YS to half price and two paninis YS to half price. Both were chucked in the freezer. I also bought some choccy misshapes ... eaten 3 of those to discover the insides, there are about 7-8 varieties across the 25 choccies.
