Other than a trip for milk and grapes another stay at home day  :| the advantage of T Express at 9pm was just the two of us in there, more staff than customers so it was a quick in and out  :) I've the shopping booked for Wednesday so i can managed with the fresh stuff I have and stores, no need to go into town tomorrow which looking at the forecast could be a good thing

I had the first porridge of the winter this morning, I must remember to start soaking my oats overnight.  Lunch was a couple of boiled eggs cooked and ate between dealing with system issues, we know enough tell IT what's wrong and how to fix it but then have to test to see if the fix worked.  Dinner was Nasi Goreng but with no egg 🙂. Enough LOs for lunch tomorrow.

I've taken a chicken out of the freezer for roast chicken tomorrow and then I'll make stock for soup for lunches next week

Forecast was correct, it's wet, dull & dismal outside, def a stay in day for me, I have a few E mags [free from library] to read and today seems an ideal day for it
I always soak my oats overnight, into a habit now along with check back door locked etc

With the weather & general gloom today will be a lazy CBA day for food
Lunch I'm trying a frozen Gregg's C & O pastie in the AF, see how that goes
Dinner, real CBA, one of the many frozen pizzas, first one I find will do because mine are all veggie ones, so no meat type to think about, just cheese & tom basically

    Good morning everyone,
Wet, dull and dismal here too!
My son is working this morning but hopes to be finished by lunchtime then the kitchen refurb continues. I wouldn't say we are on the home strait yet but getting there slowly.
Last night we had a delicious Indian takeaway, we ordered the meal for two which would have easily fed three so plenty of LOs for lunch and/or the freezer.
Jerk spiced chicken wings, roast veg and HM wedges for dinner.

Breakfast this morning was 2 scrambled eggs in a flatbread.  Those cheapish Mr T flatbreads aren't very robust, I've been using them for some weeks now and, once filled, they seem to instantly split in the middle.... might write those off as badduns and move "flatbreads" into the L1dl/4ldi preferred supplier list.

PN, ignoring CV but do the "rules" allow overnight stays? I know in B & B they don't but no idea about your set up, just curious really
Very annoying I'm sure when you are trying hard to avoid contamination

Lunchtime  frozen Gregg's C & O pastie cooked very well in the AF, that's another food on the AF list that isn't chips
Dinner, the frozen pizza has been located, it's an @sda 3 cheese deep pan, which I find very nice

Today's mega scoffathon has so far been:
2 scrambled eggs in a flatbread
1 piece of quiche...... and a 2nd piece of quiche (all gone now).
1 bag of doritos (the individual bags)
    1 banana

When I go out to work I have a evening routine which is clear up after dinner then sort my lunch for the next day as well as putting oats in soak, WFH has completely thrown my routine I just  need to get my brain into gear :)

lazy day doing not a lot  :) I had a text from my sister this morning inviting me to dinner so the chicken was parked until tomorrow 🙂. Lunch was LO Nasi Goreng and dinner lasagna with garlic bread and salad followed by chocolate cake as my nephew had baked 🤫 I've waddled home 😁

Good news on LL note PN, be one less hassle hopefully
Looking like another not doing much day with the rain & wind blowing, forecast is off & on for the day

I woke early, maybe the wind woke me but not sure, any how I was up & about in the dark
The early start prompted me to sort the gammon out [the 1/3 off W8rose one].
Once unwrapped it was an odd shape to consider halving, freeze a lump, cook a lump. It is wedge shaped, plus tied with string and would possibly fall to bits
In the end I wrapped in a couple of layers of foil, into the cast iron pot & in a low oven
I also lobbed a ready mix packet of mixed seeds loaf into the Panny

Now the house smells nice & loaf is cooked, meals for the day sorted by default
Lunch, ham & salady sarnie, freshly cooked
Dinner, way I feel right now it could be same as lunch, seems pointless putting ham + salad on a plate when I can put it between two slices of yummy fresh bread :)
Here's the loaf just out of the Panny

Crumpets for breakfast.  I'd decanted a little marg into a couple of miniature marmalade pots for "grabbing" and, as I've finished the marg tub it's just these two remaining.... so I took the two crumpets down (2nd attempt as somebody just beat me to the kitchen) ... and toasted them, grabbed a pot of marg from my fridge and it was back upstairs to spread the marg on the crumpets.  Not being one for "presentation", I'd used an ex-readymeal dish to contain the crumpets to/from the kitchen (no chance of them sliding off like they might from a plate if I stumbled on the stairs).

I also removed the cheesecake from the freezer and popped it into the fridge to start defrosting.

No sign of any such note yet... out in public view ... but I think everybody else is on some WhatsApp group. I am not as I don't have it and I tried last year to download it to my phone and got lots of threats/warning messages about not being possible/change settings, so I've never bothered to have a 2nd go.
