EDIT: Ah, found the catch. "Subject to an undisclosed Reserve Price" and it's what they call a "Modern Auction" (a peculiar thing that nobody understands). In short: you have to pay extra fees on top of the price.
You have to pay £300 just to get sight of the "Buyer Information Pack".

I dont tend to post much but do always read here!
Found an old curry sauce in freezer last night so added a lot of veg and some chicken scraps - was actually pretty good and wish I could have had enough for a second helping lol!
Trying to use up odds and ends from freezer that I have had a while and forgotten about - this month is not the best one for being able to shop.
PN - burgers sound lovely and a nice change.
Caronc - enjoy the soup!3 -

Threepenny I bet you wouldn't be able to duplicate the curry, I know I have that problem when I make a nice throw it together meal 🙂
Nice weather today it meant my back garden got tidied for the winter as my sister paid for her keep 😁 just a few pots to empty and a couple of plants to move to the front garden. It rained briefly at 12.30 but we went in for a early lunch of cheese and oat cakes with fruit. My sister brought a nice selection of cheese with her 🙂. Than back in the garden and it was warm enough for wearing a tee shirt still 🙂 garden bin went out full tonight 🙂 his lordship supervised from the top of my mini greenhouse 🙄 he's not sure about a visitor in the house 🙀

Today is Morries delivery day, I've made some space / shuffle around number two freezer for surplus sausage stowingI went onto the Farmers Choice site to amend my order to include a XCFO cheese box, but found some I want, including Brighton Blue, Brambling, are not available until mid November so I'll amend it then. Then they'll all arrive with my meat pack mid DecemberI'm trying to get sorted early as it seems mooching around for YS in December will not be an option I'll choose this yearMade a pre mix packet white loaf in the Panny first thing, now cooling for lunchLunch will be ploughman style with nice fresh white crust, one of my HG apples and assorted [3] cheeses.More cheese due later in the Morry lorryDinner, not sure. There are chilled MFO RM in my Morry order, and at least one is more or less guaranteed to be nearer it's "Use by" date so that's dinner for todayEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens2

Good morning everyone,
Sounds as though your sis is earning her keep Brambling
Hope your SM order arrives ok Farway, I've just finished putting mine away. Two subs but with decent replacements so I'm not complaining. I must look at pulling a butcher's order together and also see when the local butcher is opening his Christmas orders. We've been warned that it might be a "digital Christmas" up here but I'll still get a turkey even if there's just the two of us!
My gate and fence are finished and I'm delighted with them post. They're nice and sturdy so should stand up to the winter storms okay.
CFO tonight as my son will get is usual chippy, probably breaded haddock and AF spuds. Salady bits for lunch.2 -

Here's an idea: eat what you buy! Stop using valuable food as freezer ornaments
Just an idea.0 -

Just now: Lamb/mint burger in a flatbread, splash of ketchup.
EDIT: 1/3rd cheesecake (last bit)
EDIT2: A pack of Doritos.

No complaints. All put away now, excluding one doughnut sampled for quality control purposesAs I thought one MFO was near use by, 25/10, so that's tonight's dinnerChicken & Parmesan fettuccine. 5 minutes nukingPerhaps a cheeky jam doughnut for pud?Wish I'd thought at the time, some custard would go well with the jam doughnuts.Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1 -
I saw a Pukka pies advert on the telly earlier, first time I've ever known them to advertise.
They're not as good as they used to be.... the base pastry used to be more 'doughy', there were more chicken chunks and the white sauce was thicker.
When I used to buy one from a chippy I'd sit in the car and slice the top off with the wooden forks... then pick that up and eat it. I'd then spear the chips and use the chips to dip into the chicken/sauce and scoop it all out. Once all the filling had gone I'd use two wooden forks to tear the pie case into about 3 pieces and eat them all.1
