    Good afternoon everyone,
It's lovely and sunny here though still on the cool side, nothing a light cardi won't sort though.
I really enjoyed my wee CFO evening and my son had a good laugh with his mates until the early hours. He's not long surfaced and seems remarkably unscathed!! Groceries have been delivered with only one sub, sanitised and put away. What a chore that is at the moment! Healthy eating has gone out of the window today, lunch was a roll filled tattie scone, bacon and egg - naughty but oh so tasty. Tonight isn't much better as we are having pizza though I'll make some salad to go with it. I'll try to resist the toffee cream donut in the fridge and have some fruit with my afternoon cuppa. 😀

I contacted 111 and we have to self-isolate because of my symptoms even though they are quite mild and I feel better than I when I woke up.

I had half a pizza for breakfast and the other half for lunch. >:) I will make a salad later. o:)

Hope it's not anything serious Wednesday but as they say bette safe than sorry 😷 I did stand in a queue at the farm shop this morning explaining I was a asthmatic with hay fever as I knew I was going to cough so I was preparing those around me 🙂

The farm shop was a little busier than last time but only three in front when I got there at 9am,  it was actually nice to stand in the sun shine and chat to people this morning but there were about 15 people waiting when I came out, these days there is no longer a quick pop to the shops.  I picked up the fruit and veg I needed and some meat for my sister and two lovely lamb shanks (now in freezer) for me as they looked so nice and it's local meat.  I than went in town to pick eggs up from the farm market and to get a couple of bits in M&S including a YS half price garlic and herb spatchcock chicken, totally unplanned and will change my whole planned week 🙄 no room for it in the freezer so I'll cook it for dinner tonight and it will be a chicken week plenty of garlic so just as well there's social distancing 😁  I dithered over buying a lovely but huge cauliflower in the farm shop, well worth the price £1.50 but talked myself out of it, there's only so much cauliflower one person can eat and I'm not one for making pizza based from it I knew I couldn't off load half on my sister she's not keen

Marks also had SR flour so I may be naughty and turn the rhubarb I brought into a crumble with the plain flour I have and bribe my nephew with the SR 🤔 I had to smile there was a woman and child looking for something in the baking section, she told me she had promised to make him a cake so I said there are a couple of bags of flour left at the back, to be told 'oh no I'm looking for a boxed cake mix'

I came out of my kitchen earlier and I realised I could hear a distance beeping sound which was going on and on, my neighbour had left a pan of hankies and pants boiling on the stove and gone into the front garden to weed, I had to shout across the garden to him, luckily only smoke in the house although the pot had boiled dry enough for his clothes to have charred all his windows are now open, as a mid terrace i was glad I could hear the alarm even if he couldn't

I had brought bacon and bread to make a bacon sandwich for lunch but cba when I got in so had a cuppa with the slice of lime and ginger cake (really yum) my nephew sent me home with 🙂

Dinner will be the chicken, not sure with what veg yet but I have a selection to chose from, as the oven is one I'll roast some Jerusalem artichokes I brought this morning rather than potatoes

    they are quite mild
I would say "hope it's not", but when you look into it and read the stats, you kind of think "I should catch that, hope to be lucky and be mild, as then it's probably over and I can be free again.. knowing I'm probably/possibly immune now", not that anybody knows.  They say 80% will get it at some point.... so it's not something most can avoid, but, meanwhile, we all have to stay inside "in case" .. which could be months/years!

I hope it's all OK for you...

Few actually die - and we're all "trapped indoors" so they can manage those who need a hospital bed.  Given a choice, black/white, getting it and getting over it seems like one of the better solutions... of course, it does need to be a "virtually symptom free" event, you don't want to be one of those that has an awful time of it!

Yes, PN I agree. I was ill at the end of January and looking back I thought I had it then, but maybe this was it now. It was very mild for me if it was.

I'm feeling a lot better today, no headache, muscle aches or sore throat. I just have a cough still and a blocked nose. I do feel tired, though.

I just had a CBA breakfast, Vegan cheese, crackers and olives. I'm going to go back to bed now. :D

Ah, so maybe your correct diagnosis is: Serial Hypochondriac :)

Food's a blur still.  Just had a jam sandwich for breakfast as I need to get through the bread that's got a BBE date of 4 May.  Half way through it now.  I appear to have 7 cans of mandarins, I was obviously thinking they're a handy thing to pop into the basket each time I saw them..... not realising they were accumulating.

Landlord's stayed out since Friday evening.... if I'm lucky it'll be a further no show today/tonight.

I'll probably have a cup a soup and flatbread for lunch.

    Good afternoon everyone,
Glad you are feeling better today Wednesday, hopefully whatever you have will be mild and go quickly.
It's a gorgeous day here, I spent a good chunk of the morning sitting in the garden just enjoying the good weather while my son pottered in the kitchen making an aubergine and potato curry for us to have for dinner. Yesterday evening his airfryer arrived so it is getting a test run tonight to cook piri piri chicken and corn cobs which we'll have with steamed Jersey royals and green beans. After a very unhealthy day yesterday today has been better in the F&V department I had a banana for breakfast and a ham salad followed by some grapes and for lunch.
