I really have to go for a walk today and use my trampoline. :D
    It's such a gorgeous day today! :)
I hear "authorities" complaining about people not distancing themselves when out, like in parks & sea fronts. The NT have closed all grounds now due to this, only a matter of time before we follow Australia & Italy and ban it all if people are not sensible & restrain themselves about it.
Irresponsible behaviour triggered pub / cafe / restaurant ban and just walking will follow if some do not wise up
    Sermon over ;)
Lunchtime sarnie ended up as a fish fingers & tartare sauce one
Confirmed, the steak accompaniment will be salad & HM AF chips

I did a 10km walk this morning with my sister, we kept a social distance from each other and everyone else as we squelch through the mud, I'm choosing where we walk next time.  Definitely good to clear the cobwebs on a breezy local steep hill.  I missed out on my usual cuppa back at hers but still managed to acquire a piece of brownie (my nephew had left it cooling when he went to work 🤤).

Using Farway's method of acquiring eggs I bartered a box with my sister (and the brownie) for some unopened SR flour as both of them had ending up buying eggs yesterday from the farmers market.  She said there was a old man arguing with the seller who was restricting a dozen large eggs or two dozen mixed med/small eggs a person, the old man wanted two dozen large eggs and claimed that at 82 it was his due 🙄 it seemed the seller kept telling him he could have that many but only of the med/small my sister walked away when she could still bite her lip.

I had a reminder text from the garage as the car is going in for it's MOT and service Tuesday so I'm hoping that will still go ahead as it runs out end of March.  Keys will be handed over from a distance 😕

lunch after my walk was freshly baked brownie with a cuppa 😁. Dinner will be the LO beef roast dinner it just needs pinging 🙂

I hope you enjoy your virtual family dinner Caronc 🙂

    Good evening everyone,
Virtual family dinner worked really well and I got logged into Google group first go much to the boys' surprise. I was too full for the beautifully wobbly panna cotta and much to everyone's surprise so was my nephew!! Probably something to do with scoffing a load of crusty bread while dinner was cooking. Sis and nephew are moving back home on Thursday so if things go to plan I'll have a couple of CFO days before my younger son moves back home on Saturday until normality returns.
I'm expecting tomorrow to be busy in the voluntary work side so my nephew is in charge of catering. We are having meat free Monday so I expect baked beans or pesto may feature!

Another sunny day outside, if this keeps up I may be forced to mow the grass :s
Porridge breakfast, I managed to get a couple of bananas from my next door neighbour, both of us out in the sunshine yesterday and she mentioned an excess of bananas and no freezer space, and by chance I had excess of rooted white buddlia cuttings which were destined for my volunteer garden but no longer. Getting used to this bartering now :)

lunch, has to be use up, probably toasted stale bread with HM marmalade
Dinner, more use up, I've LO roast spuds so i think I'll have them in an omelette, maybe with cheese topping

Er, I haven't seen anyone but my husband since last Monday. I've been indoors since then.

I am allowed to go out for a walk as long as you keep 2 metres from other people so I would like you to mind your business!

oooh, touchy aren't you? It was not aimed at you or any MSE personally, it was more a response to the folks who are not keeping a distance, like here https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-51994504  or a lot of seaside towns as shown on TV yesterday
FWIW I have also not been out either since last Tuesday

I don't know why I thought that your comments about staying inside was directed towards me, just because you quoted my post just before your "sermon", clearly I'm overreacting.

Just a quick post to say I hope all CFOers are able to manage with the lock down announcement. It is definitely going to test the nation's mettle. My younger son is on his way here having been nudged by his brother just before the broadcast to pack up and get going. I'm very relieved. As the trades folk are not coming now my sis, nephew and cat are moving back into tomorrow so just one night on my sofa for my nephew.
My voluntary job is still swallowing up most of my day but this should settle as the week goes on and might get some me time back. However the hours the paid team are pulling has been hideous so I'm not complain.
    Stay safe everyone

Re reading my post I can see how it may have come across as a dig at you, it was not meant to be. That's the problem with on line, not the same as sitting chatting round a table where one can judge by tone / infliction etc during normal chats. But seems it's all academic now with latest clamp down
My daughter's in a mess with clampdown, she had her kitchen ripped out yesterday with new one being fitted this week, It's fingers crossed the fitters turn up. Keeping a distance is not a problem because her house is big enough even with the kids home, but if the fitters can't come the family better get used to ready meals, what a mess

Sunny day again here, ideal for a stroll >:)
    Porridge breakfast
Someone brought me a nice fresh white sliced loaf yesterday, so thinking of a salad sarnie for lunch
Dinner, I'm defrosting LO cooked & sliced Christmas turkey, so it's full on kinda roast but using frozen veg as I've no fresh. And Aunt B's frozen roast spuds, but in the oven this time. I have a vague memory of a packet of stuffing somewhere but maybe I'm dreaming that

I had message from Morries, they are doing a £35 delivered mixed box, thought I'd try that but no chance, no slots or deliveries available :'(
I'm OK at the moment , it was more of a trial run. They do alos say click & collect so maybe try that option later if I CBA

PS Brambling, hope the MOT goes well, my garage is still open but at arms length, keys through letterbox & on line payments, but at least it's open
