You are more than welcome Apple! Karma, I'm sorry but offal just doesn't make it more appealing!
So I have had my playslip for end of May, which I have made my june budget from here:https://youtu.be/SExHVDMY_JE
I have a backdated payrise, and I'm starting my new online tutorin job tomorrow, so I hope to be able to save £2000 byt the end of the month.
Having a youtibe channel keeps me really really focused and budgeted. I would maybe 'waste' some of this money but I have set myself challenges and I am happy with this.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Meal planning looks good and varied, my local supermarket sometimes has a section of Scottish produced food and NONE of it is ever healthy! Its things like M@ckies crisps, Tunn@cks T cakes, and that 'MacCheese' that comes in packets and you just add water. I wonder what visitors would think seeing that as evidence of our local 'cuisine'
BTW your summer earnings sound amazing as does camping and a trip to the Hebrides0 -
potential £2k savings in a month is aaaaaa mazing. Please don't kill yourself to keep to it though
If you 'only' manage £1500, thats still a huge amount more than most

Thanks Northern Monkey. It went OK today - I totally loved the online teaching and I hope I can get more hours doing it - so easy after working for the Chinese company!
I have now been asked to be part of a proposal to teach the last two weeks of the hols which if it goes ahead means no camping trip which is ok - I'd looked and was struggling to find a route with available pitches that I liked. I was thinking about hiring a cottage but this would mean we were stuck in one place doing day trips. We will see - I might not get the client any way. OH thinks I am working too much but it's hard to turn down work!
So today I had Mega Monday:cool:
2 online clients (before work and at lunch)
1 ms paying 8.50
massive spag bol for the freezer
loads of rhubarb blanched for freezer
Really productive day at work
Various other little jobs done too
Can't stop laughing :rotfl: OH was late going to ds1's parent assembly. I had no idea it was on- it wasn't in my diary. He was so late they had started but he shuffled down a row and managed to get the last seat, saying 'sorry' to all the other parents. After 10 mins he realised he couldn't see ds1 and infact it was a different year groups assembly. He didn't dare leave and disturb the parents again, so he watched a 30 minute assembly painstakingly presented by other people's children on mini beasts :rotfl::rotfl::T15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Love the assembly story! :rotfl:
As usual, I feel worn out just reading your achievements! Pity about the holiday, but it sounds like it might work out ok. Glad the teaching went well and was better than the Chinese company!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Still chuckling about the assembly. It's bad enough watching your own children, but other peoples children singing and talking about mini beasts? OH is amazing for not shuffling out again!
EXHAUSTED today. Looked after my friends two babies so she could do things, she ended up being away for 4 hours it was an appointment she couldn't leave, so I had to use up my lunch and work late. Then cooked and took ds2 to football with a couple of friends. I'm totally exhauseted now, work is so easy in comparison to babies!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
