That's great that your instincts are saying you want more experiences, not more jobs - go for it
Online teaching sounds an excellent opportunity, though I've no idea at all how you'd find the time - no travel, no lurgies, great focus2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Online teaching sounds like an excellent opportunity - well done and hopefully it will lead to more work.
Glad to hear your friend felt able to ask for some help and baby cuddles are the best0 -
I dont know how you do it.
Awesome.
You do more in a day than I do in a week.
Beanie, I only wish I wasn't doing so many jobs and doing more "nice things". Yes I feel happy the jobs are done but I'd much rather be up a mountain or camping somewhere... (although I moved to Scotland so these activities are viable about 2.5 weeks of every year!).
Jobs are not important, happiness is, and you give lots of people much happiness with your kind comments and wise words x15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Karma the online teaching will be before school, I'm normally working then anyway so I'm sure it'll fit in fine. Better than doing it at a weekend when I need to relax and try to go slower.
I'm going to put much more effort into going slower and smelling the roses.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Thanks Karma!
Although it was a bank hol yesterday, I was in work. We managed a 3pm finish though so it was straight home and we actually had a bbq and fire pit with some of the old bits of wood that are too gnarled for the woodburner.
It was great to be outside especially as the forecast was rain!
I am going to keep a mini stash of bbq food in the freezer and a pack of marshmallows for the fire pit so that we can spend our evenings outside like that again with a few hours notice - part of going slower and smelling the roses!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
