Earthgirl's Final Battle

Thanks wannabe, I really appreciate every bit of support on my new venture. I will do a blog at some point but I like getting all my thoughts down here.
So I spent ages in the garden at the weekend, and its all tidied and the veg patch is dug over ready for planting. Still need to plant my bulbs.
I have decided to do a simple youtube video every week - a recipie or tips on a subject, and a more difficult Vlog type one too.
This weeks vlog is '7 days of free food and drink' so basically I'm only eating free things all week! eeek! Today is day one and I've had bits of gifted food, found a good foraging book, bartered services for eggs, used an app and some vouchers - it's been a great day and I love challenging myself to be frugal! I have different ideas for every day of the week. I guess because I don't need to eat for free I don't do it very often, but I love the simplicity and frugality of it, and I'm enjoying the challenge.
It will certianly be a challange to edit together all the little clips
I am working hard on OHs business, I haven't seen my friend but I've messaged, and I've scheduled all the niggly things that I need to do.
I took more steps to simplyfy my banking - ended up with a £33 complaint refund as my banking switch didn't go as planned.
I've also changed teaching unuins for a half price offer for 12 months which will save me £90. I've changed to one that I agree with more on the teacher pay issue.
So really having the utube channel is making me take more action - I feel more useful and alive!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Good grief, you're not making it easy for yourself, doing the free food and drink thing in February! Respect! I really don't know how you manage it2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Yay! I finally got to watch your channel - 6.30am is about the only time I can usually expect no one else to be up.... Really enjoyed it - starting with a 10-minuter was brave!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Wow, free food all week definitely sounds like a challenge! I watched the video and thought it was great
Your plans sound very well thought through, if challenging to fit it all in on top of everything else you do.
Great news on the complaint money (weird amount though!) and the saving on union membership that's more in line with your views.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

My new video and I KNOW there is lots still to improve ( including my wrinkles in HD arghhh!!) but I am getting better!
This video is about how I ate for free this week - IT WAS TOUGH!! I never want to see a little carton on milk or an edible weed again!

I have 15 subscribers - thank you to everyone of you, so much appreciated, if I can keep growing youtube will start showing the videos to others and then it might work as a mini side hustle.
A cheap weekend, both boys had matches and both had playdates, plus a community event. We also went for a nice walk today and are hosting tonight for MIL's birthday. Mostly organised just a few finishing touches (I hope).
Have a good week everyone!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
