How much of your walking are you getting done in the evenings?

Sending you lots of hugs. It is a desperately hard situation to deal with x

I walk for about 30 mins at night, just on the beach, it's beautiful and so calming. I don't like it in the dusk or dark as I feel scared and it's not relaxing then!I missed it tonight as had lots of errands to run and it was bath night too. I walked at lunch time today which was nice but not quite as calming!

Walking on the beach sounds lovely - the perfect way to calm down at the end of the day. So envious! Can see the issue with the nights drawing in though :(

Awful news, so hard to deal with and process - take care of you and your little family. x

I think lunchtime walks are the way forward, I'm always close to a beach at lunchtime and with me not working at weekends I can also get a walk on the beach then too.

Busy weekend with no OH. Took kids to a sports shop (ds2 birthday soon) and to a big pool. Took snacks and drinks but bought sandwich in the cafe but it was only £12 for lunch plus swimming for us all, bargain!

Yesterday I wasn't feeling great so we had a playing I. The garden day after football matches. Still feeling really organised and up for getting things done but my body is telling me to slow down!

Hope you're feeling better today Earthie! It's hard when you're motivated but the body is less willing (see my diary!).

Feeling much better now, not sure if it was a mild tummy bug or a reaction to food I'd eaten now that I mostly eat cleanly I suppose.

So a few busy days at work, days when you struggle to get lunch :( but actually a pupil wanted a walk so walked along the beach, good for steps but not very relaxing.

Ds2 has a pal to play now, ds2 at football later and then we are finishing a film. Did some banking as my app was playing up and I was getting silly totals. Anyway figured it out (it was adding kids savings into my totals) and we have now saved £3203 of the £5000 id like to save by Christmas.

Going to keep a spending diary to stop lifestyle inflation after becoming mortgage nuteral!

Glad to hear you still got your walk even if it wasn't quite as relaxing as anticipated!

Spending diary sounds sensible but remember you are allowed to relax a bit now you're MN

But I'm relaxing a bit too m uch I think!! I still want to travel and OHs business isn't able to contribute much at the moment so I have to keep an eye on things - I feel better that way anyway!

Horrified that my shopping was £64 this week. Having a look at the receipt I think I could knock about £12 off it fairly easily: I have overbought eggs – some egg meals coming up this week! I am going to find easy healthy flap jack type recipes to see if this will save me money on snacks / lunch boxes. Maybe get the kids to make them. I’m going to pick blackberries and use instead of grapes.
I really want to hammer my to do lists whilst the children are in bed this weekend, no wine for me!!
Banking – transfer money to best interest accounts
    Change s+s isa platform
    Plant seeds
    Finish sorting wardrobes
Wrap ds2s birthday present, organise ‘party’ just a few friends round.

ISA was really quick to do (if you haven't already done it) and it's all happened. I like the web platform much better than CSD (where I never really understood what was going on! )

What seeds are you planting? Could do with some inspiration!

It's coriander and basil to add to my cooking to give more flavour. I've got some winter lettuce in but it's not growing very fast might have missed the boat.

Was just chatting to oh and my healthy eating is going really well for myself and them too. I've lost another couple of pounds and feel like I don't crave sugary things any more, although I enjoy from time to time. The biggest thing has just been listening to my body, eating more at lunch and just a snack later. I'm never hungry and much much healthier. Don't think it's a proper habit yet, just three weeks in, so I'm going to keep it a big focus. I've been doing exercise via you tube vids and walking on the beach.

The weekend needs improvement in terms of eating, doing fun things with kids and not focusing on to do list. This was a mistake as I just felt that things were hanging over me all weekend.

Another wobble for ds2 at football training, he got upset. I don't need to take him as often as I do as he does get really tired. I'm not having him as tired and fed up as he was last season.
