Thank you. I think my challenge will be supporting oh through this. He is annoyed with me and hasn't got a kind look word or comment for me at the moment. Never mind we'll get through it, he's just grieving and under pressure and taking it out on me.

A little bit of banking done this afternoon, had a supermarket order delivered and did a tutoring lesson so £25 in. Both boys away at some activities, friends helping tonight which is nice.

I've booked myself an hour long facial at the weekend £35 very unlike me but my skin isn't feeling great and I'd like an hour or so to relax (we have lots of relative here at the moment to look after kids so it seemed s good opportunity.

We might be travelling later rather than sooner as mil is here on her own now, we will see..so an hour to spoil myself is ok!

Very sorry to hear your news about your FiL, earthie :( and that your OH is taking his grief out on you in that way. Very wise of you to understand it right away. Also wise of you to book in for a facial at the weekend, thats a really good idea.

Thanks, oh much improved in terms of taking stuff out on me. He does it now and again but not really a concern. Ohs sister may or may not have fallen out with me, again everyone is under strain at the moment so I'm not going to worry about it at the moment.

I've tided the garden, washed the car and clean the hen hut out and done all the laundry. I still have to finish the banking jobs, work on ohs business and maybe hoover around. I will batch cook for the week and plan the week too.

Ds2 is having a friend around this afternoon and then I'll put a film on for them. Both have been to footie today so that's enough activity for them!

So sorry to hear your news EG, what a sad few months you've had. i hope you can take some solace from the peace you brought to FIL from the efforts you put in to getting him a schedule etc.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Hey EG,

Very sorry to hear about FIL, I really hope he gets to go home.

Taking care of yourself is so important, harder to look after others if we dont look after ourselves!

Amazing work on the mortgage and holiday fund!

Interesting point about children, with not for, definately valid! I have never wanted as such, but also did chores for pocket money and am pretty good at saving! Your children will love all the time they spend with you, and all the activities bring memories, be it colouring in together or going to places!
