Sounds like a super spiffing time away, and well worth all the planning!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Ooh yes, you can't beat research on things like tube stations and whatnot. Meals in the room sound excellent - it reminds me, on that latest trip I did with my sister, we passed the serviced dining room at breakfast time, and she said to me "I can't think of anything worse than being waited on at breakfast time", I kid you not
Glad you're going to do it again - this is what you're saving for, to have *experiences*, not stuff. Good for you xxx2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I'm glad it's not just me who takes breakfast stuff etc to hotels to save money. Sounds like you had a fab time creating new memories

Yes great time away, and Karma and apple you are right, its what we are using our disposable income on right now to make some great memories.
Rabbit its the first time I've done the breakfast thing, and would do it again as it saved £180! However Karma I would have loved to be waited on.
So I have my mojo back. Its too early /dark to do some garending/exercise so I am working on OHs business and then cleaning before work.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Lots of work and to do list ticks yesterday, followed by a lovely read/relax and meditation with ds1. He finds it hard to drift off to sleep somethimes so its nice to relax together.
Today I've got up early again to do housework and work on OHs business. I've got a bit more of that to do today.
DS1 school shoes have fallen apart so I've ordered the next half size up in leather and with a few vouchers I had from shop and scan they should be delivered tomorrow = £5 spent.
We are on our use up week for groceries which is always more timeconsuming in the kitchen so I'm glad im motivated!!
To night is chorizo stew, tomorrow mince and mash, Thursday chorizo and roast peppers over pasta.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Meditating with ds1 sounds lovely2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Yes it is nice, but I do wish he could drift off himself a bit more.. I will talk to him about it.
I just don't know how to fit everything in again!! Too busy!
Would like to fit in:
More work on OHs business,
30 mins per day surveys/MS/researching saving money and reading diaries.
30 mins per day translation work
I'm not exercising enough
I have a few ideas - if OH does one of the football lifts for me, I get 2.5 hours back per week. This would mean I need to do the grocery shopping another time.
Off to think about it and read diaries (the most important task on the list, right?!!)15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

:kisses3: A great tip from my sister, even about things that we did on holiday, was to do/see the most important thing first. It really, really helped, on the practical, everyday elements of our holiday.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

But, as you may have guessed, I want to do it ALL!!!
Switching round my routines so that I do all the laptop based stuff in the morning, incl some extra translation work, rush round my cleaning before the kids wake up.
Toying with the idea of joining an exercise class when I drop DS2 at football. Its 45 minutes at the same venue and would cost me £3 a week. I'm supposed to be saving money though, not spending an extra £12 per month!!
It is a good use of time though as I'm at the venue already  What do you think?15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
