Concerns About Friends Behaviour

If the update is true, this thread should be deleted in its entirety as the matter is now sub judice0

The facts are quite distinctive however. If you ended up either as a lay magistrate or sitting on a jury on a similar case in the next 6 months you'd have a fairly good idea it was the same thing. Assuming any of this is true of course!0

Me and my husband are going to our local police station later this morning. I have had to take a day off and he doesn't start work till later on. The man arrested last Friday and has told them 2 different versions of why this has been happening. From what I'm told he has been issued with a freedom from harassment order but refused to sign or comply with it. Therefore he is due to appear at the magistrates court today.
Harassment notices don't work like that. All they are is one person's word against another and police who CBA/don't have time to investigate (delete as appropriate). It's a warning that if you persist (and if it's true as some are malicious) then further down the line, with sufficient evidence, action may be taken against you. I am very sceptical that all this has supposedly happened over the course of a weekend. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
"Concerns About Friends Behaviour"
Whose friend? The whole thread is nonsense. Updating is a waste of time as I suspect many don't believe a single word.0 -

I don't believe any of it either and it's as relevant to a money saving forum as "who is your favourite cowboy" or "Loldogs" but it's more entertaining to me than any of the others.0 -
Well I have just spent a lovely half an hour reading this, made me laugh whilst eating breakfast.
I too love these kind of posts, sure does make a difference to the condescending attitudes that abound on here at times.
Keep it up!

This is actually quite unpleasantly homophobic. The idea that gay men are predatory and dangerous and that they target straight men like this.0

Never in this post have I come across as homophobic. He has been given a court order not to approach us our neighbours or family. If he did then he risks a custodial sentence ( which will be well deserved). I'm trying to forget this and carry on regardless.0
