Finally received the activation code and logged on to internet banking, only now I can’t logon again, nothing happens when I tap Login after entering all my credentials. Clearing cookies let’s me login but the same problem occurs when I try a second time. Additionally, I get page not found for the nwolb URL unless I clear cookies first.
Anyone else have this issue? I’m on an iPad running the latest iOS.0 -
So:
Online Banking sorted
Account Switch sorted
£1500 Credit made
BUT
Can't withdraw & transfer back the £1500 without a Card Reader-which I have ordered.
I do have a Nationwide Card Reader which I believe you can use BUT how do I use this when the system knows I don't yet have a Card Reader when trying to process a payment?0 -
You can enable your card reader on the security menu and activate your debit card on the cards menu. However, I am not sure which of these you should do first. So:

Your Nationwide reader should be fine but you can check by inserting your NatWest card and pressing respond. Then enter your new NatWest debit card PIN and you should get the message PIN CORRECT.0 -

I think other posters have said you need to wait a couple of days after ordering your NatWest card reader before using an alternative. Presumably so their system thinks you've received it:cool:0 -

Why rushing to pay £1500, You still have a lot of time until 16 March 2018
It is risky to put £1500 on this account without having a card reader as your rmoney may get stacked on this account earning no interest at all.0 -
R34 GTT, you are not alone. Like you, I received activation code today and registered online. Deposited £200 and now it won’t let me log in. Same as you, running iPad and latest iOS. I shall leave it overnight, switch it off, switch it back on again, etc and see what happens. Incidentally my welcome letter with all details has yet to arrive. However I could see it was there online in my mail box when I logged in. It’s dated 16th January which of course is no guarantee it was posted out on 16th. Next stop, order card reader.0

What i did was logged on and went to 'security' from there I ordered a card reader I then immediately went to activate the card reader and used my Nationwide card reader which works perfectly well using the NatWest debit card of course0

Just a quick query..I paid in £1500 before "the switch", but after the account was opened"..I presume it will still trigger the payment, does it matter ? I was happy to pay in early as started using the account for my contactless day to day spendingOver £2K made from bank switches and P2P incentives since 2016 :beer:0

I think some people are rather eager to get their £125 and then close the account down/switch asap. Why rushing to pay £1500, You still have a lot of time until 16 March 2018

I'm not convinced about the wisdom of that idea.

The seasoned switchers on here would have been pretty impressed if you'd managed to pay it in before the account was opened"!buyhighselllow wrote: »Just a quick query..I paid in £1500 before "the switch", but after the account was opened"..
No need to "presume" anything when the T&Cs say, simply, "before 16 March 2018...deposit £1,500"I presume it will still trigger the payment, does it matter ?
So day 1 is OK, 18th February is OK, and 15th March is OK.
