NatWest £125 switch incentive

My passport has expired and I don't have a photocard driving licence - my paper one hasn't been updated since the last change of address over 20 years ago. I have not been asked for proof of ID when opening any other bank accounts (most recently for the YBS switch) but DigiDocs is being mentioned a lot with this offer. Do other banks or organisations use it routinely?
Just had this debacle with DigiDocs, had confirmation saying everything had gone through. Then in a weeks time, email asking for ID documents to upload via DigiDocs.
Telephone team and fraud team said they had sort of heard of DigiDocs but had no answer to why I had an email requesting them.

But more bizarely, I was asked to use DigiDocs - no probs. My wife had to use Natwest Photo ID Checker which is a totally different system which is where she has hit a brickwall. She has emailed the Natwest Application team, she's now holding her breath......Start Date 28/04/2007

Well if anyone does get messed about by natwest like i did (froze my account the day it switched) get onto the financial ombudsman.
£250 compensation plus the £125 switch money. Not bad at all.0 -
