Oh and as for loos.....I used to work a zillion years back at a large chain of department stores.  The local one was very old fashioned right down to the marvellous loos which made them a mecca for those of a particular age that needed a good long sit after their morning coffee and biscuit in the restaurant upstairs.

One day the cleaner clocked the fact that one of the stalls was still locked after closing and left a message with security saying some kids had had a prank.  No one did anything about it until the opened the store the next morning when they sent store's handy person with the tool box to get the door open.  Nope, it wasn't kids.  It was an old gent who had peacefully expired on the throne.

    Oh no!!

I have a similar story about a very grumpy elderly Professor who used to regularly go into his Oxford college for lunch, and then sit in his favourite armchair by the fire in the Common Room for a snooze afterwards. Woe betide any porter or cleaner who dared to disturb him, they quickly learned to leave him to sleep so that they wouldn't get grumbled at for waking him.

Yes, you've guessed it. Two days he was there.

@C_J - I'm surprised that sort of thing doesn't happen more often.

I had the last spoonful of mapo tofu with tenderstem broccoli, mange tout, fine beans, courgettes, carrots and baby plum tomatoes followed by physalis and iced coffee.

    What flavour beer??

OH has decided it's prawns on the bbq tonight!  A massive bag of those humongous ones.  I'm hoping for a lime juice and soy sauce glaze.  To be presented on rice.  Due to low carbing I may opt for a bit of greenery on the side or perhaps just some sliced tomatoes.

Praise be Weber and all the chars in it!!

Brie - I used an IPA, but only because OH bravely volunteered to drink the rest 😂😂 any beer would do, and I think any liquid as it just for steaming, always comes out so moist and flavoursome

    we’re Weber too 👍

Still filled a gap and made a space in the freezer as i have again gone bread overkill.
We needed a loaf so i scooted past the olio house this morning and came home witj 2 loaves, 4 tiger cobb rolls and a pack of bagel thins. Excellent selection but need to get it frozen bar half a loaf I'll keep out to use and the bagels.

Had some cooked chicken so threw it in the oven with a sausage and cooked some cabbage and celeriac dauphinoise for with it. Had a piece of chocolate, pecan and coffee cake made with ground almonds for pudding.
