Tonight I am making (at Mister CJ's request) cod in parsley sauce, except I have only just remembered to take the cod portions out of the freezer so I hope they defrost in time. They're quite chunky.
I'm going to make a black forest gateau for puds this week - again, at His Lordship's request. I think he has regressed to the 1970s or something :)

Snap CJ. We are having cod in parsley sauce, with some mash and leeks.

Took a last min holiday today and spent the day painting the bathroom. Have decided that and kitchens are the most difficult rooms to paint, its not like you can just clear the room into a nice empty box space,  theres so many bits that are fixed to paint round. Anyway, nearly done. Jusy a few touch ups to do and need to put the downlighters back properly. Its was one of those jobs that wasn't actually on our 'to do' list, it just somewhat snowballed from having other bits done. Home office looks like a branch of B&Q atm from it but hopefully will get everything sorted this week and most stuff away in the garage.

Dinner tonight thus didn't happen til nearly 9pm and took the form of beans on toast.
