For lunch today we’ll probably have a sandwich made with sourdough bread my sister had brought me yesterday as leftover from her Ocado shop.
for tea we will have a sausage, yorkshire pud, brocolli&onion gravy.

  • Last of the 'Iffy soup' and a sandwich for lun ch today and the last of the fresh fruit salad for HWK and supper this evening will be a reheated jacket potato, the rest of the macaroni cheese from last night and some frozen mixed veg which last night was the thing we both enjoyed most! who'd have thought it???

Going to finish off the carrot and potato mash from last night. Might have it with some chicken nuggets - for lunch - quick and easy.
Pasta with I think it's tomato pesto jar, and will mix in bacon and tomatoes with that  for dinner - again quick and easy.

it's cold, windy, and a little snowing here today so all of your warm, comfort foods sound delicious.   I find i do better planning a few days ahead so this is what we have for this week:
W-b-eggs/l-leftover corned beef and cabbage/d-scotch broth and soda bread (just half a loaf as I'm not eating bread atm)
Thursday-b-crepes with fruit compote, sausage patties/l-chicken fajitas, rice, brussels sprouts/d-scotch broth and soda bread
Fri-b-crepes w/fruit, sausage patties/l-LO chicken fajitas, rice/d-bbq chicken for dh, corn, rice/jalapeno poppers for me
Sat-scotch eggs, apple bread toast, fried sweet potatoes/l-pimento cheese sandwiches, fruit/d-something from the freezer
Sun-eggs and smoked sausage, apple bread toast/d-peking duck (ugh, I hate cooking duck but i have in the freezer so someobody needs to cook one!), rice, sauteed spinach
