We’re having a lazy ploughman’s for lunch today too!
I had a fruit and veg box delivery from our local farm shop yesterday, and it contained two massive onions (larger than grapefruit size) so for dinner tonight I will be stuffing and roasting one of the onions with a mixture of crumbled panfried sausage meat, breadcrumbs, red chilli, thyme and lots of garlic.7 -

DH went on a little shop to the local butchers yesterday, he bought some of their divine sausages, lamb steaks, and for some bizarre reason handmade faggots, I like faggot, but not when the temperatures in the garden were high 70’s yesterday 🏖 😂 he did, however, buy some dry aged steak, so we will have that with a simple salad tonight with a glass or 2 of wine, and strawberries and cream - we were supposed to be in Portugal this week, so it’s a holiday substitute 👌Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

We're hoping to start working the new allotment this morning so lunch will probably just be a cheese sandwich and a piece of cake when we get back along with multitudinous cups of tea.
Supper tonight will be jacket potatoes with cheese and baked beans and a salad followed (inevitably) bu some rhubarb crumble for HWK!
