  • Bought a cooked half chicken on YS yesterday so had some last night with the veggies I brough back from carvery lunch. Today I am making a chicken pasta salad, dd will be coming over with dgs, we usually go out for lunch but as she has a client near me and the job is coming to fruition (an end!!) she is not sure exactly what she is doing so may drop dgs off then come back, or may take him to harras builder with her then come here for lunch, or to all of us go out for lunch. The pasta salad will do for me for next few days then.

I made beetroot burgers (from Jack Monroe’s website, but I zhuzhed-up the spices a bit) served with a lovely big salad and a glass of wine.

Lacking enthusiasm to make tonight’s meal, last night was omelettes with whatever was in the fridge and cold LO sausages – was nice

Went out to a nearby town for a look around, they had a lovely fish and chip shop, we had a lunchtime special, haddock, chips, peas, bread and butter and a cup of tea for two for £10.50.

I cooked the piri piri chicken I picked up half price at Aldi last night as it was due to go off at midnight tonight:D. Made a salad and a Greek salad and we had that at teatime.
