  • Chicken, potato and spinach curry tonight, with rice, naan bread and onion bhajis. Not sure I fancy curry, will wait and see. Might do myself some scrambled eggs once I've fed the hungry hordes.

OH had pasta and I had a pre-bought ham and mushroom tagliatelle ...which wasn't really that nice and slightly disappointing. :(

Bangers and mash for us tonight, with the leftover sausages going into a pasta bake with onions, peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes in a cheese sauce, which should feed us for tomorrow and Saturday. Cheap’n’cheerful!

I cleared out the freezer yesterday and found a pair of steaks, so that’s dinner tonight sorted, steak, salad and Halloumi fries:)

  • Did not freeze sausage balls so will have some more tonight and the rest of them tomorrow with some of the turkey meat I cooked yesterday in SC. Its now waiting for me to switch oven on to crisp it up. Will serve both meals with salad - no carbs - had the sardine & tom paste sarnies for lunch again and will tomorrow, stale hot x bun soaking in milk CBA to make custard etc so that will be pud and the 2nd YS panacotta in a few mins. Want to make some lentil soup but maybe tomorrow, not sure yet.
  • We are having battered haddock, McCain's Home Chips and either peas or baked beans. Lots of vinegar on my chips :D.

Strange day of not doing much so not particularly hungry.

Had a crushed avocado on toasted sourdough with a poached egg on top and plenty of cracked black pepper.

Didn’t think this was going to work but it did.
