Last night was potato/carrot/parnsip mash and Sausages cooked in peri peri sauce (just some of the bottle I got from L*dl) with fajita mix veg (morris*ns) Turned out nice and tasty.
Today chilli. I was going to cook it fresh but found some already made in freezer. This is good means I don't need to use any fresh ingredients just yet, they can be for another meal.

I’ve only just taken a pack of minced pork out of the freezer, so if it defrosts in time I will be making pork and red pepper meatballs on a bed of parsnip mash ….. otherwise we will have that tomorrow night and I’ll do a freezer dive to find something else for tonight!

Tesco had their indian meal for two on for £5 so i got one of those the other day.  BBF today or would need to be frozen - I think we'll just go ahead and have it as we've got a fussy day and it makes life easy.

OH has been to Lidl and bought the makings of a Greek feast for the weekend.  I also insisted on 2 pork pies from our meat market guy so that will be part of a light supper in the next couple of days.   Fish shop was visited as I wanted some salmon for my breakfast but that was £23/kg so went instead for a trout fillet - monster one = 3 breakfasts for £9 (£15/kg).  I'll likely have 1 piece tomorrow morning with some guac and freeze the other 2 pieces.  It's a great shop and their fish is so spectacularly fresher than anywhere else.

We had a change of plan and Saturday nights dinner became tonights and the lamb kebabs that was for tonight went in the freezer.
So we had vegetable Chinese rice, bao buns with pulled belly pork and pancake rolls.
We were due to go out on Saturday night, but it's now Saturday afternoon for a barbecue instead of drinks.

We went off meal plan because we spent so long in the garden this afternoon and evening that neither of us could be bothered to cook.

We had cheese and tomato pasta bakes from the freezer (one YS, one cheapy one from Aldi) with garlic bread (also from the freezer).

We've got some YS grapes that need eating, so will probably have some of those momentarily!
