    Thanks Stevie

I suspected as much. I've been through my hire prices for the past 6 years on usrentacar and the most I've paid is $300 for 12 days. Guess that's the way it goes. I've booked the Autoeurope rate just now but it has free cancellation until close to the pickup date so I'll keep checking for discounts.

I'm off on my 11th Vegas trip in a couple of weeks and we're considering hiring a poolside cabana. I know they are hideously expensive, but I'm looking for a site where I can see all the costs/terms and conditions together. Going through each hotel's site is taking forever.

    Any ideas, folks?

Hummm, will there even be many pools open in March?
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

There are a few that are open year round. I’ll have to find the link.

Someone up thread was talking about high car hire prices. I!!!8217;ve been looking at ours for next month and they do seem quite high.
Only looking for 3 days and can!!!8217;t seem to get anything under £100.

Not just car hire expensive flights are up and down as well.
I booked at £750 (ouch) - they went up to over £1000 down to £626 and now back up to over £800!

(I know I shouldn't look as there is nothing I can do in any case but I can't help it LOL)

Certain booking agencies have a price promise where they will match or honour a lower price. I have used this facility with Autoeurope a few times.

there all still high at the moment :(
on average (basing on Fullsize car), costs are about £30 more..
ie: Average is £150 for 1 week fullsize rental...
    Currently showing £180 + hmmmmmmmmmm.......

    **edit **
Done a search on AutoEurope, and showing £162, so not too bad, but needs to drop below £150 ! :):) (renter is Europcar, didn't know they operate in the US ? ) , and just read Europcar is 'Advantage car rental' in the US ...

    **
Looking at my records from last year, we paid £158 for 1 week in std size SUV with Dollar (through AutoEurope)..... Price today for same car is £221
But as I recall, I kept making bookings and cancelling when the price dropped! :)
