After all the trips to Vegas, and using Downtown as a base for the weekends,I was never aware that the Rolling Smoke Downtown was half owned by Rick from Pawn Stars fame..apparently he works behind the bar at weekends.
Might give it a try on the next trip while we are staying at MSS for the weekend.
On our last trip we met him outside his bar on a Friday night - to be honest was not a nice man - just said hello to him in the parking lot (as they say!) he just brushed us aside and said not now I'm going to the bar - he made his entrance and the Pawn star smile came back!0 -

Rolling smoke BBQ I referred to above is the original one which isnt downtown, I didnt know there were 20 -
Looking at our 3rd vegas jolly (to think mrs flybynight originally said "I dont fancy vegas very much,it looks boring, but u suppose we could do a few days there on the way").for the first time am looking at cashing in flying club miles. Meams we cant fly direct though.has anyone done manchester jfk vegas? Am debating it, but the delta portion of 5hrs, having alrady done a hop over the water looks a bit torturous as they dont even offer premium econ.saving for more holidays0

Oh also, does anybody remember when my vegas started offering the 2nights stays ratger than the 1? As I have enough chips to get them and was wondering what the chances were of that being an option at the end of may?

Yeah I think the one Downtown is a newer one.
The original one was on food network/ travel channel the other night, which pricked my curiosity.I searched, and read about about the downtown one,and thought that might be a different option while on Fremont.
But reviews rate Ricks BBQ not as good as the original. So after reading that neither you nor pebbles even rate the original I think we will give it a miss.0 -
