  • I'm trying to put together an itinerary for 6 nights from 27th March, staying in Paris. Trying to do things we've not done before. If anyone could help with recommendations/or telling me to steer away from them for the following it would be really appreciated:
    -Shooting range of some sort
    -Eiffel tower
    -Zipline at Freemont Street
-High roller (not sure about this)
    -Bellagio buffet
-Ride other than New York New York and Stratosphere ones
    -Coyote Ugly bar

I've redeemed a number of rewards on myvegas in case I use any of them, including $75 off in Tender, last time I went was 2015 and I loved the food and service, but open to new steakhouse suggestions. It's my birthday a couple of weeks before we go, so I'd be interested if any of you know any birthday freebies that I may get as it won't be on my actual birthday?

    Thanks
Have you ever done the Secret garden at the Mirage?
Both times we have done this we have met Mr Siegfried and had photos taken with him.

Another High School shooting, many young people and adults dead. The Americans have some morbid fascination with guns. Please do not encourage this by supporting any form of gun or weapon activity, including ranges. Probably will not make too much difference to a country that relies on the Second Amendment to still behave, in this respect, like they are living in a lawless society of 200 years ago where the closest law enforcement could be many days away. But it demonstrates that at least you do not condone this lax and flexible attitude to gun ownership and use. Sorry, but I feel strongly that any form of support of guns only reinforces their immature attitude to a civilised society that accepted the rule of law.

I don’t mean to be rude, but this is a travel holiday forum.
Where anyone can come on and ask questions, and hope they get an informative answer to enhance their holiday experience.
It’s not really a forum to debate the moral rights or wrongs of Americans.

If you feel strongly against the people, and their country don’t go.

I think there are quite a number of regular posters on here who have used gun ranges and the like while holidaying in Vegas.
I personally wouldn’t care to do so,but I respect everyone’s right to choose activities that appeal to them while on holiday.

As someone who was in Las Vegas when the shootings took place last October,I agree, something drastically needs to change with their gun laws...but that if for them to decide....we are on the Vegas forum to help each other get the best out of our holiday, with helpful advice.
    Not to preach to people.

I apologise if I offend anyone on here with my comments.

When i go the end of April i'm looking to do the stratosphere tower & rides and the slotzilla zip line in fremont street, am i best booking these before i go or does it not really matter?

No, i've been trying to get the tickets through myvegas, and not seen the 2 free ones available at all for weeks. Hoping it comes up before we go. Good to know you've enjoyed it if you've been twice.

The Slotzilla Zipline is awesome - we just bought on the day and had no issues

I did the zipline, really enjoyed it. Booked on the day and had a couple of hours to wait, plenty of casinos and entertainment on the street to pass the time.

On the way to freemont we stopped off at the Stratosphere, I think it was happy hour with 2 for 1 cocktails 4pm-7pm in Sky bar, the drinks were really good.

It was the last stop on the Monorail and a short walk, then when done you can head on to Freemont by cab. On the return journey get the cab the whole way back to your hotel, as the area between the monorail station and Stratosphere isnt the best.

Slightly off topic but if you fancy a cheap meal when in Vegas I would suggest the Ellis Island BBQ chicken, amazing value and not far from the Paris hotel.
