Well, I didn't know that was how you spelled it.
    A proper old one?
    Would you use it?
    Any base stamp?
If it's still there, will he buy it?

I remember the dark brown glazed one my Mum used to use to make bread.

I’d never heard of a pantheon, oh the joys of the Internet where you can press on an unknown word and can immediately get the definition.

And here’s me using a large Ikea bowl :rotfl:

Visited an abbey a Much-wenloch and then had a wander around the village. Found a lovely vintage shop that was in an old tower, it was five storeys high, there were things all piled up the stairs and at the top - mainly chairs, furniture and mirrors. I came across a few kitchen bits. I bought a brand new roasting tin for £1 and a blue/white Pyrex small shepherds pie dish for a £1. I was well happy. Then I visited the charity shops saw some Demi-johns for £2 and £1.50 but didn!!!8217;t get them. (Thinking about Making my own fruit wine).
I did manage to get one of the books on my list that I gave her hunting for ages. £1.50 in hard back version - yay!

Over the weekend I have been given homemade rhubarb and crumble ice-cream. It was delicious. I’ve asked for an ice cream maker plus some small tubs to store it in for hubby and my birthday ( a joint present as our birthdays are only a few days apart). I cannot wait. I’ll be asking for recipes.

Home made ice cream is so much nicer than even the premium brands. I had a glut of blackcurrants one year and made a sorbet and ice cream. It didn’t last long:D. Ask him for some really good quality vanilla to go with your ice cream maker, good place to start and think of all the gorgeous toppings ;)

I also grow blackcurrants, raspberries and strawberries. I am going to have so much fun. I can’t wait.

:DCan I be your new best friend?! :D

Went into a couple of chazzers this afternoon but didn't buy anything. Have noticed a lot of B & H gift sets or bottles of B & H minus the rest of the set. 'Tis like the first swallow of summer, isn't it?

yes, we live on a farm near Dartmoor :D

Our council recycling centre has some bargains. We bought a virtually new coffee table and a large green leather pouffe that matched our furniture for £10. They had about 20 demijohns, I’ve seen them in other recycling centres as well.

Thanks for the info on the Demi-johns I don’t want to pay full price if I can help it.

My local tip does the same. The problem is, I struggle to stay there longer than is structly necessary because I have such a sensitive nose. On that basis I doubt I could accomodate anything that has been exposed to such an environment, although I appreciate good homes will be found. For that reason, its a no from me :o

We pronounced it like 'pension' but with an 'a'.
Mum's had deep sides and was sloped inwards towards the base

    Latest bargains:

M&S Indigo top, 3/4 sleeves in a black and grey checked pattern. great with plain black or grey leggings and ankle boots. Still has the paper inspection sticker on the care label

A pale grey short-sleeved top, longer at the back than the front, mainly cotton with some viscose. To wear with my patterned leggings.
Whoops! Checked the label and it's by 'Blooming Marvelous' I'll die if anyone asks when the baby is due. :rotfl:
Seriously, it doesn't look like a maternity top, I can usually tell those as they have gathering at the side seams to accommodate the bump.

A BNWT M&S man's soft touch modal long sleeved shirt in teal and black stripes. Still has the plastic thing round the collar. Original price £29.50
Will be given to OH for his birthday.

    All £1.00 from Air Ambulance.
These will have been on sale at various AA shops in the area before being sent to our clearance shop. I can't believe anyone wouldn't have bought a BNWT M&S shirt.
