My local Red cross shop had packets of new mens boxers - 3 for £1.50
rrp £12.99. I bought one packet but feel I should go back for more.
  • Today I had a lovely oatmeal colour oversized cardi for £3.49, 2 small individual enamel pie dishes for 50p each (wanted a couple of these so was chuffed!) and a red leather Filofax (personal size) for £3.49, checked and this particular one is £50 on eBay, has no inserts but I will design and make these myself on my laptop for my specific needs, perfect size for my handbag and has part for cards, notes and a zipped change pocket.

Had a trundle around the local chazza shops this afty. At last they seems to have got rid of all the 'ideal gifty' stuff and the blingy 'party wear' stuff and got some new stock in. Nothing much appealed apart from a neat little business card holder made by Troika. Its aluminium with a roller dispenser which means you can offer your business card one-handed! Dead flashy!! Still boxed and priced at £1 in the Mind shop. They are selling on Amazon at the mo for £16.50. It will be gifted at some point and I know just the [STRIKE]posing plonker[/STRIKE] suave gentleman to give it to :rotfl:

Anyone else feeling the cold today? Been 1 degree here all day and the puddles were all frozen over as I found out when I did my Bambi impression. Currently 14.5 degrees here indoors and my number of clothing layers has reached 7 :o

I found a b/n burgundy leather Filofax, in a bigger size, a few years ago in a chazza. Used it religiously for a couple of years and couldn't imagine coping without it. Hardly ever look at it now as everything seems to have been transferred to phone/tablet/pooter these days. Shame really as I used to enjoy using the Filofax and doing real writing with a proper fountain pen!! :p

Yesterday I got a gorgeous Next jumper, purple with flecks in other colours, high neck in fisherman style, I thought it was hand knitted at first, 55% silk blended with wool, alpaca and angora, it is a large so nice and slouchy on me £4. Also got a Dorothy Perkins faux leather bag in black with silver hardware, medium size with carry handles rather than a strap £2.95, this is to replace my worn out Mantaray one.

I still prefer having a filo as master organiser. But it stays on the desk at home as it’s too heavy to lug around.

My only chazzer purchase recently was another ice-cube tray for 10p. Nice big sized cubes that don’t melt too quickly, unlike many in the shops.

I can understand this. I reverted to a paper diary 5 years ago after more than 15 using Outlook Calendar. Strangely it has given me so much more control of my time! It doesn't leave my side and the only one who can add an entry now is me.

Busy having a sort out at home and am rapidly filling a large box for my favourite chazzer. Since the sun started shining last week I feel motivated to get some work done in the house - best I get it done in the spring rather than losing summer weekends over it!

Hope is not a strategy :D...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

Yes that sense of not having complete control over software planners is weirdly debilitating isn’t it. Also the thought that it might all just disappear into the ether with the next software update or crash . . . paper and pen every time.

Yesterday I bought a Per Una Spring/Autumn weight casual coat in a lovely purple waterproof-ish fabric with a white and purple spotted silky lining.
It has a detachable hood which I like as it makes the coat more 'dressy' in my opinion.

I really do not need any more coats but as it was a perfect fit and only £1.00, it would have been rude not to buy it. :D
Just about to pop it in the washing machine.

eBay sales still going good, I have 7 items to parcel up and post this morning. :j
