A pink velvet coat from Boden for £40!!! TBF I had been on the lookout for some time for a velvet coat either Boden or White stuff.
A dark turquoise White Stuff dress £12.50
A grey long sleeve Seasalt t shirt £3.99
A Saltrock pale pink fleece £2.50
An H and M t shirt grey with a silver pattern 99p
A Primark long sleeve dark turquoise t shirt 99p
Pink Addidas trainers £7.99. My best ever CS bargain was my Nike trainers which I use for running; the new ones are for the gym so I don't have to worry about cleaning the Nikes all the time.
I did take a bag of too big stuff to CS and am also enjoying wearing clothes I had that had got too small that now fit again so it's like having a whole new wardrobe.
I gave my almost-new-and-never-worn pretty Seasalt dress to the charity shop! I loved it on the coathanger, but when I wore it it just made me look frumpy. Hope someone got a good bargain!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Back to my normal stomping ground after my enforced sojourn in the wilds of North Yorkshire, (plumbing saga still ongoing!). A nice tripette this afty to Otley and at my first stop in the 99p St Gemma's shop I got a dark beige leather handbag by Hotter. Beautiful condition and a perfect size for a summer's day out or on holiday. Price was £4.99 which is odd for a 99p shop but they do have a section for really 'good' things where stuff is priced higher. Found it online - was originally priced at £65. They also had a black leather Prada bag which looked genuine, (hideously blingy - all shiny gold bits and sparkly stones but beautifully made), also priced at £4.99. Tried on a gorgeous brand new, cream, fitted, M & S dress in the Oxfam shop but the top half was too big and it was a complicated cut so I couldn't be faffed altering it. It also had the imprint of a boot on the hem where someone had stood on the dress. Probably wouldn't have had the occasion to wear it anyhoo so that saved me £6.990

Dear gods. Three large & one sizeable water bottles, Liberty Bottleworks San Francisco Mass transit & two large other designs, mine for £1 a bottle & amazon import them from £16 each. Right, all my healthy chaps can now go properly hydrated! (Recent gym convert delighted, novice mountain biker deeply unimpressed, so will eBay his!)
Fuel Sigg bottle for £2 (£20 if you can find them)
Two suit lengths of lightweight worsted 3.2m long, £10 ea when that stuff is £102+ a metre. Ulp, have a responsibility to think harder about how to use!
Flower arranging comb, lovely heavy metal & all pins straight & sharp for 50 pence may arm wrestle mother for possession but she does flower arranging more than I do.
Wedding sixpence in daft gift box 50 pence - I just wanted the sixpence!
Radox washbag, 50 pence, Little zipped bag with inspirational quote (“What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity”) 25 pence & Disney pencil tin 25 pence. Will be put to new uses.
Bonus, found an almost draughtsman’s chair for youngest for £15!0 -

I'm small and (a tad) dumpy and virtually anything I try on looks awful on me.
So - onwards and upwards with the gift wrapping.
Still not found any nice scarves to do Furoshiki but I did find a lovely little purse BNWT by Half Moon Bay:Half Moon Bay is a Bath-based wholesaler of licensed and themed giftware encompassing famous brands from entertainment and film, gift collections and humour.
50p Local Hospice shop.
Also a black 100% cotton apron BNWT by BangTidyClothing.
It reads "It's been 65 years in the making to get this good at baking".
Really good quality.
£1.00 Bluebell Wood
I have several friends coming up to their 65th or maybe I'll give it to OH for his 65th birthday (next year) as a joke gift and then I can wear it.
Looked at their website and they do 'novelty' BBQ aprons for men with some slogans that made me snort.
If anyone wants to take a look:

Twas the hospice jumble sale today everything £1 and 3 for the price of 2
Got a lovely BNWT, Viyella, purple needlecord, quilted body warmer thingy. Just found it online - original price £94 but currently selling at half price :j
A Primark grey and white striped shirt, lovely soft fabric. (This is the very first Primark item I have ever owned!)
A teal and cream long chiffon scarf - sadly the wrong shape for Furoshiki but goes nicely with a couple of garments I have.
Nice little haul for £20 -
No spends and charity shop bargain dilemma! I was dropping some clothes off to the charity shop this morning and notice a pretty coat in the window - a size 10, although I'm usually a size 8 - and I wish I'd tried it on, even just to see that it didn't fit but now I can't stop thinking about it. I didn't bother trying it on as although I really liked it, I'm currently on a no-spend challenge. Said charity shop is now closed for the weekend and I won't be able to get there during the week but if it's still in the shop next weekend, I'll probably pop in and try it on.
How do you all deal with seeing a bargain whilst on a no spend challenge? I'm trying to cut down on irrational purchases this year, plus use up as much make up and toiletries as possible. I need to start saving some money and stop accumulating stuff I don't need. Having said that, I do want to try and buy as many of my 'needed' clothes from charity shops, rather than high street stores to hopefully cut down the amount I'm spending, stop buying 'fast fashion' clothing and minimise the guilt that comes when I decide to have a wardrobe clearout.0 -

Depends on the challenge. Usually I delegate & get the spouse or offspring to buy things if I am on a personal absolute No Spend thing but then I also try to stay well away from temptation when on those spiritual exercises.
The emergency cash stash, intended for genuine emergencies, has been dented if I have a Denby emergency.... I did refill it within 6 hours.0 -

I'm doing a 'no buy' too. If you need a coat rather than just wanting it I would go back and try it on. Yesterday I found two items I really, really liked from brands that fit me well but I won't get good use from them because I already have similar items so I left them for someone else. Do you need a(nother) coat? As opposed to want another coat?
I don't 'deal with seeing a bargain whilst on a no spend challenge' because I don't do 'no spend challenges'.
Sorry - I know that's not helpful to you.
I am on a cut-down on buying things though - but only because my wardrobes are bursting at the seams.
Having said that, yesterday I bought a Monsoon 100% long linen top in mint green, the style you can wear as a blouse or open over a vest or t-shirt. I have several pairs of patterned linen trousers and it will go perfectly with those.
£1.00 Air Ambulance
I'm currently listing stuff on eBay and it's going well. :dance:0
