Found a summer dress today for the outrageous price of 20p!
New Look, knee length shift stylee, sleeveless and scoopy necked in a 'fuzzy' flower print of hot pink, lilac and black. Twas two sizes too big but being cut on the bias it just drops down to calf length and fits perfectly!! Found it in the weird 20p shop in Otley.

It's a very odd shop...everything in it is priced at 20p. Mostly they sell books, magazines, greetings cards and china/glass but also have a couple of rails of odds & ends of clothing. Most of it is pure tat but if you delve deep there are bargains to be had. In the recent past I have
had a huge pure wool wrap, a boxed pair of b/n 'church' candles and one of my best ever finds....a large art deco crystal candle holder.

dolly so jealous of your DM find - currently on the hunt for boots! Will keep hunting!
Also need to remember to measure my window in the bedroom. Was going to make some curtains but if I can find something suitable in a CS, that would save me a job (and £££). There were some lovely blue ones for £2 in a CS yesterday but unfortunately too short for our ridiculously long sash window.
We have the same problem!
You don’t happen to live near Edinburgh, do u? Play fair, that would make parts of Bristol an excellent hunting ground too.
I've a cousin there - really ought to visit...
Himself has dragged more Denby back to the cave - a "Peasant ware" jug & while we didn't recognise the name, he tuned straight into the shape & the hand decoration. Very proud of him! Oh and all for a pound - while the jug is photographed in the reference book... c1954!0 -
Miro - I've been in that 20p shop a few times and it is odd, I don't know how he makes a living.
DfV - Where do you keep all your Denby, it must take up a huge amount of space?Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Unfortunately just as far away as I could be, but that's a good point. It's a mishmash of houses here - might have better luck next time I'm in London (or persuade DH to have a look on his lunch break) or Brighton :money:0 -
I got DH a Fat Face tshirt yesterday, it is a khaki colour with a faded map print with a cyclist and an appliqued compass, lovely thick cotton - £2.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Today's charity shop find:
5X local handmade mugs for £2.50. DH is currently drinking from a jar, I drink from a large Denby seconds mug, and we have some delicate Denby cups that sit in the cupboard never used. I'm moving these in and selling the Denby cups and saucers0
