Rousing cheers for the British heart foundation and their furniture shops. Two sons each equipped with computer tables, for a dashed affordable total and we got both into the car (one lad & his father electing to take the bus home, thus avoiding the unloading & installing.)

I shall study the knitters of dent with respectful fascination!

Pickings in the cs have been a little slim recently but a recent car boot saw me get 2 immaculate joules harbour tops which I love for £2 each. The rather expensive age uk provided me with a Crabtree and Evelyn la source hand wash and hand conditioner set in a gift box for £5. Currently on sale for £23 for the moisturiser and £18 for the soap. It will make an amazing and very posh Christmas gift for my sister.
Yesterday I popped in to Sue Ryder where someone had obviously donated a load of barely worn Boden and pure collection clothes so for £17 I bought some Boden Capri pants, a very fancy Boden top and a Boden summer dress. Very pleased with my purchases

I love Boden but do have to avoid long sleeved things as they are just too short for my telescopic arms.

I found a wonderful video on t'internet of an elderly lady using one and chatting about. Her accent was so strong though it was hard to make out what she was saying. Now, of course, I cannot find the blooming' video again!!

Scrolly down to 'The Terrible Knitters of Dent'

I did wonder what you meant about her accent when I watched it, so I googled Dent, fairly local accent for me living in the pennines I suppose.

I'm wondering if it's the same as mine (also dusky pink, linen, long and found on the £1 rail). Does it have a deep V neck and back and long rear zip?

Mine fits my lower half but squishes my boobs - not a good looking me, but would suit someone flat as a pancake! I really should donate it back.

Yes its the same one! It's to sell in my Ebay shop

I got a nice haul of jersey fabric long tops, tunic/ dress type items all near enough new, M&S and Dorothy Perkins all £4 each. I've a long body at 5'8" anyway but need longer than usual post pregnancy as after my second c- section in two years, I'm sporting a slight apron that needs flattering lengths of top when I wear jeans or jeggings etc.

Also found a new with tags full swim suit for DD in 9-12 months size for £1.50, very pleased with that one.

I'd be interested to know how you get on with the Primark top. I don't shop there but if I do come across anything in a CS I have to buy it in a 16 or 18 as they are soooo small.

Dolly - I've given up on manufacturers sizing - I can go from a 10 to a 16 depending on the make, fit and cut!
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle
