  • Picked up a T shirt for a quid from a quick browse over the charity shops in the high street other day. The T shirt looks great and fits fine - it was only when I got home that I realised it was a supermarket's own brand that I would never have thought to even look at if it wasn't in a charity shop.

Was a short sharp lesson for me that labels are useless and just ways to jack up the price of things. I'm perfectly happy with my new T shirt! :)

You are on your way to being a Money Saving Chazer :T

I laugh at the people who pay tens of pound extra because it has a little decal/label.

So I saw a Radley Bag very similar to my one in the Sue Ryder in town. Unfortunately it was £24.99, which I didn't really want to pay as it wasn't exactly mint condition, but I did find it quite funny that I did indeed see one.
    :p

    Told you!

You will be in the right place, at the right price, one day. :A

I know I've said this before but TU clothing is really good quality.
I have some jersey tunics and dresses and they match up to Monsoon and Per Una in quality.

I had a great haul whilst on holiday from a charity shop in Alcester while I was on holiday. I had a huge bag of different coloured double knit wool that cost me a fiver and there are over 25 balls in there plus a cloth bag of wooden knitting needles. ....:):):) my bargain of the year I think :):):)

Wow - JackieO that really was a great bargain. I hope you got a great mix of colours in your goodie bag and enjoy using the wool. I crochet blankets for the homeless so I get through a lot of wool. Whenever I'm in charity shops (very often!!) I look for wool but it is always at least £1 for a ball so I now don't bother. :T

Popped into three cs's today but didn't see anything that I wanted. One wanted £1 for a bottle of Radox bubble bath!!! I've paid that in a supermarket.

Have just got a job volunteering in a CS, can't believe that I get a discount of 20%...My first buy is an East bag, leather handles and base and blue canvas body. Very pleased, £5.60. In another CS got a black velvet hobo bag from Kipling for £6. Yay!

How's about this for dedication to duty chums?

Got home from holibobs yesterday with a hugely swollen foot and ankle...thought it may be from infected mozzy bites so went to the GP first thing today and then got sent to the Urgent Care bit of A & E for tests. First thought was....'ooh there is a good chazza near the hozzie!'. Quick hobble round the shop found me a Precis b/n shift dress with a black and white tulip pattern for £8, (last sold in Debenhams sale at £49.50 according to Google)

Still don't know what's the matter with me foot...I needed an ultrasound scan but by the time they had done all the other tests the U/S peeps had all packed up and gone home at 5pm so back I goes tomorrow, (and for another visitette to the chazza!)

My local CS is next door to a Lidl so I had to have a quick shufty - just in case ;) Found a lovely black & white polka dot cardi - very stylish - by my favourite designer Joseph Ribkoff ...... perfect fit £2. I also found a nice pair of Monsoon trousers coincidentally in black & white polka dot ( no they won't be worn together!) long enough for me with a shaped waistband and concealed zip £2
    One happy bunny ;)
