Nipped into our little town yesterday as we had had to stay home all day whilst a job was being done so didn't have time to go far. DH got an iTEK gaming chair for £10, he is very pleased with it. I saw a jumper I liked but it was too small, lovely Jack Wills one for £3.

I bought a set of 12 chrome coasters from the Scope shop last week for £1. They are swirly spirals. I wont be using them as coasters though. I can see it in my mind that by weaving strips of fabric, or wool through them, and joining them together, they will make a very interesting wall art sculpture.

I am always on the look out for cheap bits and bobs which can be made into something new. I buy canvases for 50p, even though they might be a horrible picture, and paint over them. A lot of my art and craft materials come from charity shops or car boot sales.

Make sure you’re not accidentally painting over a masterpiece :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think the bit in bold would be harder to do than not going in at all.
If you don't go in, you can't see anything that might take your fancy whereas once you're in......;)

Now you put it like that I have to go in don’t I? Just to be sure there is nothing I want to buy....!
Ah sure, I think it’s still at a pretty harmless level, the house is not full of stuff , maybe the wardrobes are under a bit of strain but I do have a good clear out quite regularly.

Have a policy of 'one in, one out'.
That tends to concentrate the mind to 'do I really want this dress/skirt/trousers?
