Just make some up then, just remember what you put, sorted.
It took me about a minute to complete them.0 -

Yes same happened to me but it doesn't mean you will have to answer all of these in future. This was just to give them your responses to a range of security questions so when you are asked for an answer in future they know what you should be saying if it's really you. As the earlier reply said you can make up any answer you want as long as you remember what you said next time you get asked that question. I have to do this already with a couple of my accounts (First Direct, and Bank of Scotland) and they vary the question each time, which is selected from info I have previously given them.0 -
I love the inanity of the questions. Favorite drink? Depends entirely how much I've drunk! Was disappointed not to have one about the colour of my favorite pony.
Was obviously developed by an underdeveloped MTV teenage girl.0 -
I avoided the "Favourite Food?" one as I figured anyone planning to hack my account would just guess "chocolate" and get it right. :rolleyes:Debbie0

You could invent something like: "NWarenotmyfavouritecolor" - for 'favourite colour' and so on... (i.e. XXXXXXcolour, XXXXXXschool, XXXXXXfilm - that sort of thing) where the 'memorable bit' that you make up is just apended with the 'key word' (operative noun) of the questions you select - that way you don't even have to remember what the questions are....!.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

Select only items that say 'what is my favourite xxxx' and enter xxxx plus something you nomally use and can remember eg food1 colour1 etc. You are dealing with a computer that only knows and checks alpha numeric sequences. I kept it very simple for mine but nothing that a phisher would try eg 1 in the example I gave.0

I've just been asked to fill out these security questions and have done so.
Logged in again and went straight to the accounts page.
At what point should we be asked any of these questions?0 -
The joke is the advice"Never write passwords/numbers down" how on earth do you remember dozens of different numbers/passwords if you dont write them down?0

You can't.
This means you are either likely to completely forget the answers and will have problems accessing your account, or you will write them down making yourself fully liable if someone manages to get them. (Mostly likely to be someone who is or was close to you.)
By the way anyone who has a problem with the number of security questions complain to Nationwide. Use the online form and state what problems this is causing you if any. The form is here:

I've logged back in several times and still haven't been asked any of the questions. So what was the point of the exercise?0
