it may sound controversial... but I like DS9 ... there I've said it ... will run and hide now

Yep! Got the box set, going 3rd on the list & then there is Babylon 5, then back to the beginning.  But I've only seen stuff that has been on freeview type TV & because I need then it on disc to kitchen watch.

    Awwww  :D

aye I liked it, not liking this new attempt, have u watched Orville ?
I haven't - on searching, I see its either Hulu or Disney?  Never had a sub to either, and not really likely, I'm afraid.  I'm waiting to see The Last Of Us, I loved the teenager that played Bella Ramsay in GoT, and I love all apocafic.

Anyhoo ... still not feeling wonderful, so I'm sticking with Killing Eve at the moment.  Brilliant double act at the centre, and scenes stolen by Fiona Shaw :)

Having seen SSS's workings out of his fuel costs, it reminded me to work mine out, for the period of 24 Nov to 3 Feb.  I'd already done 3 Feb to 13 Feb, which was £5.50.

24 Nov to 3 Feb, though, I splurged over Christmas, which I had to have at home because everyone I was supposed to be with had pneumonia :( and there was also 12 days with the Lovely Moggie here - I had my living room door open to the hall the whole time, and the hall is **freezing**, there's an issue with the water meter and bad insulation, blah blah.  So, over that 71 day period, with a total of two weeks of heedless expenditure 😂 it was £7.13 a day, the financial total was £506, so the website tells me.  I'd have spent over Christmas anyway, of course, but that 12 days with Lovely Moggie would have cost a lot less, so I'm okay with that.  And I've had the subsidies anyway, of course.  Life goes on.

Was never a huge fan of DS9 and haven't watched Firefly (notable to me only because it has the actor who plays Casey in Chuck - any Chuck fans?) or Atlantis or Stargate. But watching Star Trek (the original, TNG and DS9) was a regular excuse for not going and doing my homework after Neighbours when I was a teenager!

For some reason I have been thinking about the star trek original episode about racism.  You remember the one where one race had the left side & one the right side of their faces black & one was supposed to be superior to the other.  It's a pity more people didn't take it on board & realise just how ridiculous racism actually is.  Gene Roddenberry was a genius - well in my not so humble opinion anyway.

Oh, just had a look, its Adam Baldwin!  He started in the X Files, though its not in his imdb bio.  He's in the X Files listing of actors though. Maybe he dislikes that as much as Jason Momoa tries to forget Atlantis 🤣  Fans never forget 🤣

I couldn't remember his name, but you're quite right. He's a good actor!

Didn't see this at first, badmemory, sorry.  Yep, I agree, he was brilliant - astonishing that the networks didn't realise about this one, and shocking that people objected to Kirk and Uhura kissing.  I can understand Nichelle Nicholls feeling under-used and wanting to leave, but its true that Martin Luther King asked her to stay.

I met Leonard Nimoy (at a convention in London).  Just sayin' 😁
