SL, you're an amazing member of your community, as well as this one, and you've got such a lot going on in your own life looking after OH and possibly even moving house.  Very glad to see you here, but nothing to apologise for!

Nothing at all has happened here today, 3 hours work on the garden in 4 days has made me feel ill, so I'm just reading an online book, and I've just come back from a walk round the block.

I did have some good news via U3A - there was an environmental group, but there seem to have been some politics that interfered.  But the new guy that offered to come in is setting up his own group, still within U3A.   And I'll get to use my bus pass 🤣 once a month.

Still taking things very easily physically, I did feel quite poorly yesterday, but I've done 4 things this morning:
    - finally put the dishwasher on.
    - Zoom talk on the Highway Code.
    - impulse purchase!  A t shirt for Firefly, a much-loved science fiction show, £11 delivered.
    - planned purchase, via tcb, of Fuseau Jerusalem artichokes and horseradish tubers too.  All about ease, plus a bit of tastiness :) I forgot the welcome bonus code, doh, but I've messaged them, and we'll see.

Blimey.  News this morning has been a bit active.

Oh thanks for mentioning Firefly - I'm sure we have the discs.  I watch TV in the kitchen which doesn't have an aerial & I've almost finished Stargate SG1 & will watch Atlantis next & get DS to find Firefly ready for the end.  Obviously I have seen them all before but don't mind watching again especially when busy doing something else but it isn't good to watch something I have never seen before as things tend to get burnt.  How did we cope before we got a pause button?

You like Firefly as well!  Excellent!  SG1 and Atlantis, of course, and yes, its ideal to watch something you've seen before while you're doing something.  I still have favourite scenes I pause for, though - you're right, pause buttons are essential 🤣🌈😛😎⭐  Fallen Skies was good, before they went a bit mad, and ooh, Orphan Black.  Sigh.  Love it.

You're a bad influence.  I haven't seen Fallen Skies & I've gone & ordered the first 2 seasons.  I bet my DS gets to watch it before I do.  As an awful mother when he was a toddler one of the Star Trek series was on around his bedtime so he got to stay up until it finished.  Nothing like teaching bad habits is there.

Loving the bad habits - nothing like sharing the love with friends **happy sigh**

I have done a little bit in the garden - fetched out some big flowerpots, big enough to take the artichokes.  I might clean them a bit, just with very dilute washing up liquid, but that's all.  Just 20 minutes, I'm resting and reading otherwise.  Such fond memories of Firefly!  And they had fond memories of Earth That Was.  Which is us :)
