Suffolk_lass said:Dare I suggest your simplest solution would be to buy a new caulking gun so that you can operate it. Then having put a seam along a stretch, screw an ordinary screw into the dispensing tip so the stuff does not go solid. Use your universal spreader (aka finger) dipped in a mild washing up liquid and water solution so it does not stick and run it along the seam, squishing into the gap as you go. Have plenty of kitchen paper or old rags handy to keep wiping away the surplus. Less than £10 for a working sealant gun that you know you can use.3

Maaaayyyybbeeeee ... I'll see. Trying another way to do it by pulling a trigger manually ... I'm underwhelmed
The pain and the aches aren't forearms btw, it's the collarbone by my throat, my shoulder, and my fingers, the latter two keeping me awake at night.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -

Sorry to hear that, beanie
but don't worry, I'm dropping the DIY stuff for a good while in any case, I need my brain back for some finance admin things. Finishing up with Sains, French accounts, YG survey, seeing if Pinecone will still have me, NatWest app, a new Mastercard cc, stuff like that
don't go!

Hurray! This stuff goes in cycles - this morning, after all, even though I was ker-nackered, I had a 35 minute walk, the sun was so beautiful. Much more important than anything else 🌞2023: the year I get to buy a car6

Well done on your walkies!4

Afternoon all
I've been preparing for the Visiting Workmen tomorrow - putting stuff in rooms they won't need to go to, clearing moss away from the ground floor window, that sort of thing. And I've just realised what time it is! If I want a walk without dozens of kids around my ankles, I need to get out there now - we have a sequence of primary school/secondary school round here, that overwhelms the pavements.
A quick 10 minutes on here, I reckon2023: the year I get to buy a car8 -
Hope you had a good walk.4
