Good morning
Slept a bit better last night, which is good. Saw my lovely neighbour yesterday, who's basically finished with his green bin now, until about Marchso my hedgework can recommence. The laurel at the bottom of the garden still has [STRIKE] parts[/STRIKE] two little bits that are 20 feet tall
and I'm sure there's a lot that leans over to the neighbour's garden, though I can't really reach that - my brother did it last time.
Anyway, today is the U3A environmental group, I'll go along, I have no idea if its on - very bad communication (i.e. none) from the organisation, over a period of 3 weeks.
I need to take some time building up a to-do list that has *everything* in there - I feel like I'm juggling the unknown at the moment, which is very possibly yet another reason I haven't felt like doing anything!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
The group was there! And it was a *really* interesting talk, believe it or not about the Woodland Trust, a volunteer came down from a different region and talked about her local conservation project, a farm converted to Woodland Trust property, thanks to Sainsbo money. They really work on the ecological web of life, not just the trees of course, so it was extra amazing.
So I've joined up, next one is 15th January. Very pleased2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning
out for a little walk with my sister today, though its *really* frosty out there. I've spent a while writing out an Uber-List: projects, ordinary to-do items, cleaning, repairs, gadgets to get working, online money faff, Christmas, the gardent. In total there are 48 items
_pale_:p oops. I'm really glad to have it in one place, that feels much more in control.

Ooh, you are just like my conscience. I have four lists on the go and have yet to combine and prioritise them (and note where I have dependencies on other things).

I remember you mentioning that recently! It feels quite calming to get it all written down, and it enables a true choice, when I can read through all the options
Walk was lovely thanks - we chatted here for a while, then walked through my local nature reserve and on to the farm animals a local school keeps. it specialises in agriculture
Cold though! Done YG and SB, off to sort the rubbish for tomorrow.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Actually had a proper sleep last night, woo hoo. I'm not going to do any "to do" lists
since I have the massive great list on my phone. Just going to do ta-da lists, which sadly include the ordinary post-opening etc I'm a sad git sometimes :rotfl:
So, currently I have: unpacked the dishwasher, put the wm on, started defrosting frozen veg and fruit to eat today. SB done too. It helps just to do a few minutes work on various stuff when I'm getting up and making coffee etc. I don't always do that
Heavy drizzle right now, as forecast, so its inside work at the moment. 6th December today! Christmas is creeping up ... better get going.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
